Boutique del 17 ° secolo Cottage

Questa esclusiva struttura è caratteristico è stato attentamente progettato per sfruttare al meglio lo spazio disponibile ed è di grado 2 elencati. Si trova in un ambiente pittoresco e si traduce in un delizioso cottage con una ricchezza di caratteristiche interessanti e originali - porte rivestite in legno e armadio e Stuart travi. La casa dispone di una sala lettura / spogliatoio, un masterizzatore di registro, finestre splendidamente vestite con tessuti e accessori alla moda. Originale pavimenti Lakeland ardesia e travi di quercia a vista, con pavimento in rovere contemporanea al piano di sopra. Il punto di vista di colline locali può essere visto dalle finestre della cucina e camera da letto del sud, allettante per gli escursionisti. Gli ospiti possono semplicemente parcheggiare per la settimana e godersi i laghi a piedi. Il cottage ha passeggiate direttamente dalla porta, insieme con il lago mozzafiato e paesaggi di montagna. Questo accogliente casetta villaggio è stato progettato per due. Nota: bambini non sono ammessi, compresi i neonati o fumare, ma i cani possono essere considerati. Shop (Spar), bancomat, garage e gastro pub a 50 metri di distanza.

Il casolare è stato costruito dal 1690 ed era originariamente parte del Coaching House, ora Grade tradizionale di II, e le stalle sulla strada principale di Windermere.

Eccezionale, circolare a piedi dalla casa di Troutbeck; dopo una visita al National Trust Townend Hall, sorseggiare un drink al The Mortal Man quindi seguire le vecchie piste e sentieri fino alla cima di Wansfell, per una vista straordinaria sulla Windermere e Ambleside.

Charming location that allowed exploring the lake district without a car. Frequent buses at the stop nearby. Loved the old stone walls with the slate floors. We have an old house with narrow stairs, so they felt like home. (Hang onto the railing). We arrived in a downpour, and had some trouble locating #14 (overgrown). Thank goodness for SPAR at the gas station for hot coffee and food basics. Go hiking out the back, up the field, around the sheep for some incredible views

The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property.

Beautiful cottage in Troutbeck Bridge

We loved our stay in this cottage. The owners have put such thought into the items and I loved the textiles and pictures. It was super comfy and a real treat to stay at the cottage. Although easy access via a main road and spar garage for goodies, the cottage itself is in a private road and set back. We were able to walk from the cottage to the most glorious walks. A great treat.

Disappointed

We love the Lake District but we were very disappointed and dismayed at the level of cleanliness and state of the property. Yes it’s very old and there is no doubt it has charm and history, but it wasn’t clean and it isn’t looked after. It was very cold downstairs, even with the heating on, and damp with wet patches on the floor. It definitely wasn’t worth the money.

Weekend in the Lakes

Lovely cottage!

We had a lovely stay in this cottage for our Lake District holiday this year. The cottage is sweet and well equipped, and is a great base for exploring the area. It was lovely to return to the peaceful cottage after our wedding day on the Wednesday! Thank you.

Lovely little cottage

We really enjoyed our short stay here. The cottage was full of character but cleverly modernised with a well- equipped kitchen squeezed in at the foot of the stairs. The bathroom had a great shower. The cottage is in a great location with walks from the door but just near the town.

Nice little cottage on a busy bus route, wasn’t very welcoming on first impressions, con webs throughout the accommodation and smelt foisy, the mirror in the sitting room and bedroom looked like they had been cleaned with a floor cloth, the kitchen window was so dirty it was difficult to see down the drive. Spent about £35 on kindling & logs trying to warm the place up, booked for a week which was far too long, 2-3 nights would have been enough. Came home a day early, wouldn’t recommend it to family or friends…

Perfect location for visit to the Lakes District

Well-located charming cottage. Pub/restaurant and convenience store steps away. Windermere center is about a 30 minute walk. Several nice hikes up to Troutbeck right outside the door.

Lovely stay

Cute little cottage in a good location with everything you would need. Stairs are typical of the age of the cottage, after a day out in the hills they became a challenge in themselves! Overall lovely couple days away. Thanks! Spar across the road had everything you would need including logs and kindling.

Amazing little find

A gorgeous cottage, ideal for a little getaway over Christmas. The owners sent comprehensive instructions of how to find it as it is tucked away. The neighbours were quiet and courteous. The cottage was even decorated with a little tree and other bits. I was worried about being cold but it was lovely and warm despite the constant rain outside throughout my stay.

A delightful quaint cottage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rosebud Cottage. The amenities are well thought out. Modern bathroom including a superb heated towel rack, full kitchen with quality dishes, a washing machine for our dirty laundry, etc. The location was convenient, and we took the bus everywhere. We would not hesitate to return to this charming and quiet location.
