Struttura in ottima posizione per visitare il lake district. Camera piccola ma comunque pulita e ben arredata. Personale cordiali. Centro del paese raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti

An overpriced, poorly managed B&B sold as an hotel
I booked a 3 stars hotel (nothing in the Expedia page let think it was a B&B), two rooms for our family of four, and we found ourselves in a small B&B, with very poor service, if any at all, and poor facilities (very small oldish rooms, no garden, no common areas, no info and almost no personnel at all). The room was poorly furnished and quite old, with basin close to the bed and a small separated toilet. Breakfast served only one hour by a non-professional person with limited language skills, with small selection of food. I think Expedia should better specify, on the hotel dedicated page, that this is NOT an hotel. Price of course was ridiculously high with respect to quality.

Perfect location to visit the Lakes District without a car. Walking distance to Bowness and the lake, the village of Windermere, the train station and the bus stop.

Felt very comfortable and the owners were so pleasant and friendly. Room was bright and spacious and was stocked well with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits. Thoughtful little touches in room like tissue box, wine glasses, do not disturb sign. Breakfast lovely in bright front room and offered cereals, selection of cooked food and fruit and yoghurts, apple juice, orange juice, tea, coffee.

Convenient location
Very convenient location to access restaurants etc. Friendly hosts. Road parking seemed feasible. We'd stay again.

Weekend away
Spotlessly clean place and the owners really friendly, ideal base for exploring Windermere and it's surroundings. Breakfast choice was excellent really can't fault this place

Both Rob and Becky were very welcoming and friendly during our visit. Breakfast was excellent. The place itself is perfectly clean and had really comfy beds. Location was spot on and only a 5 minute walk to Windermere. Plenty of walks and activities to do in the local area too.

Best place I’ve stayed!
I had an amazing stay! The bed and sheets were very comfortable and the room was really clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and Becky and Rob were wonderful hosts. They made great suggestions when my tour was cancelled at the last minute and we’re very thoughtful and kind.

Rob was an amazing host! He welcomed us and offered to help with our luggage. The hotel was very pretty, clean and cosy! Rob also suggested places to visit and was very friendly. A nice atmosphere and place to stay! The breakfast was lovely too! Thank you for the great hospitality! 😊

We enjoyed the breakfasts with the exception of the bacon on the first day. Other than that there was plenty to eat. The triple room was very cosy with enough space for myself and my son. The shower room was small and clean but didn't have a sink. The sink was in the bedroom. The area was quiet and within easy distance from Windermere with train, bus and shopping facilities.

The property is lovely! It’s the perfect distance from the train station while also being close to bowness and the lake. Rob is very helpful when giving recommendations and is very knowledgeable about the area. He also makes a great breakfast!

This was my first time staying in a B&B and it was lovely. The room was very comfortable with a small sofa and tv and the little things like wine glasses and a corkscrew and bathrobes just added to it. The breakfast was really tasty and Robert, the host was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I would definitely recommend it 😊

Cute B&B in Windermere
Becky and Robert were wonderful hosts. They gave us some good tips on what to see and where to eat in the area. Breakfast was delicious and filling!! Having wine glasses with an opener in the room is a really nice touch. It was nice to kick back and relax with a glass of wine after lots of walking. The local co-op and grocery store sells wine and both are about 5-10 minute walk into town,

Stay away from this hotel
Please stay away from this hotel I have never seen a person as rude as the owner. No people skills at all really disappointed. I will make sure that all my friends know about this awful experience and of course I will post it on all social media

I had a lovely stay here, the room was clean, well kept and had a nice decor. I mentioned I was vegan and the hosts offered to bring soya milk to my room and adjusted my cooked breakfast accordingly. I didn’t like that the walls were so thin that I could hear when they turned on the light (with the extractor fan) in another room and you could hear the boiler going. When others came in late at night I was disturbed. The B&B was in walking distance to Orrest Head, Windermere town and Windermere on Bowness. The staff gave lovely recommendations also for things to do/places to go. All in all I had a pleasant stay!

Best guest house in Windermere.
Rob and Becky were amazing hosts. Lovely guest house, very comfy beds and great breakfast in the morning. The location was ideal with a easy walk into town. We will definitely be going again.

Perfect winter weekend break!
Had a great weekend break, accommodation was lovely and clean, warm and cosy with a quality breakfast served ever morning. Perfect base for exploring the lakes or just chilling in the local coffee shops and bars, which there are plenty. Host’s made us feel very welcome throughout and provided lots of useful information about the area.
