Summary:
A luxury boutique style apartment bursting with character, located in the perfect spot within touching distance of Windsor Castle, you really can't get much closer than this! Located in the beautiful cobblestone streets, next to The Guildhall, The Long Walk and many boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also free parking for one car. Everything you need is within walking distance and with the added benefit of parking you can explore all the sights.

The Space:
Recently renovated to a high standard is this unique and stylish two double bedroom apartment. A spacious modern bathroom with walk in shower and extra large luxury bath tub. Fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining/living room and free allocated parking. A perfect space for family and friends to rest up before hitting the sights!

Guest Access:
Please note you are required to walk up stairs to enter the apartment (first floor). The parking space is suitable for cars only.

Changing of the Guard: the guard change takes place Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 10am - 12pm and last around 20 minutes. You will not be able to access the apartment by car between these times.

The Neighborhood:
Centrally located in Windsor above a quaint brasserie and tea room. Windsor Castle is on your doorstep (10 second walk) and The Long Walk is just a few minutes away. All of the shops and restaurants that Windsor has to offer are within walking distance as well as Eton High Street. Please note that because of the convenient location, some outside noise can be expected.

RENTER BEWARE

The pictures look nice, but do NOT tell the whole story. What is not shown or noted is…the unlit, narrow entry and staircase, (we arrived at 9 pm). The smell of fried fish oil from the attached restaurant greeting you. The smell continues into the hallway and INTO the flat. We tried airing out the rooms by opening the windows and turning on the fans (flat has no air con). Waited two hours hoping the smell would disperse…it did NOT!! The odor has permeated into the carpet, upholstery and bedding. So much so, we did not unpack for fear our clothing would start to smell. It was so nauseating, we checked into a local hotel at 11:30 pm. We notified the owner immediately, but of course he was no help. After one week, he stated he “investigated” and found “no odor” even though he verified other renters had mentioned the smell in the building. I stress again, RENTER BEWARE!! P.S. The Castle Hotel is quite lovely.

what an awesome place to stay!

this place was incredible, my family and i absolutely loved it! we were neighbors of Windsor Castle for a couple nights, super, super responsive host, check in was a breeze, and the place was super clean -- would absolutely stay there again in a heartbeat. one thing of note, parking was accessible via St. Alban's Street... behind the property, wasn't too bad at all, even for an American. :) great pubs right there too, and an easy walk to the train stations. loved it loved it loved it!

Inside is lovely, the entrance way and outside of the building is awful!

On arrival I thought we had the wrong apartment block. The entrance is not on the road communicated, but on a private road running parallel to the Palace buildings. The actual entrance was dirty and just horrible, there is a restaurant in the building next door and its extractor vent is next to the entrance - clearly fish and chips are a big seller because the smell is overpowering. The entrance was filled with leave debris and just not very welcoming. Once inside the hallway was not inviting at all, the smell of fish and damp permeated the grubby hallway carpets. Once finally inside, the place is nicely decorated. Bathroom could do with a quick shower base renovation. There was no bath soap, just two lots of body moisturiser. We were disappointed to see no salt and pepper or even some coffee capsules to get us started. For a place that is not cheap, as a guest I would expect more in the way of basics. My last moan is about the location, while very central, the view from the living room and kitchen is of the car park, trash bins and the queues and queues people waiting to get into the palace and they can make quite a noise - very little privacy in the morning. While there are window blinds people can look straight into the kitchen window. Personally, for the price we paid, I will not be recommending this place to friends.

Great location

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It’s location was superb. Facilities were very good with everything we needed for our short stay. Great to have on-site parking. Communication with the proprietor before, during and after our stay was excellent.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay the end of Sept. The location is excellent, with so many restaurants within a few minutes walk. We found the flat to be very comfortable. Great new kitchen as well.
