Bad odor and nasty water
Bad odor coming from the Ac unit and the bath tub water was nasty, I think there was a lot of iron in it

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant, The Embers, has good food and is very convenient. The staff was very friendly.

The staff and the food at the attached restaurant were great. On the sad side, internet not working 90% of my 5 day stay, door was difficult to open and a lot of trash on the property.

Mixed feelings
Tub was coming apart (literally) & the toilet was right up against the wall (literally). Parking area was dark, with some seedy looking people. Pool was slimy green. Restaurant was not that good & way overpriced. However, everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. Not too bad for the price

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Bed was really comfortable and the place was nicer than expected. The restaurant was pretty good too.

All the people that work were go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are well maintained however, the chairs in my room were in need of replacement. Despite that, I would recommend this hotel if traveling in and around Winnfield, LA.

My reservation was messed up. The hotel did not show me as being registered even when I gave them the confirmation number!! The clerk stated they always have problems with Expedia when hotel reservations are made. You might want to look into that. It is not a good feeling to travel long distance to a place, arrived at almost midnight and then be told that you do not have a reservation.

Room was very quiet, clean and comfy. The staff were really nice, restaurant was good and convenient. The pool was dirty and I think leaking, but it was a good stay.

Good but not Good
This hotel was a great location for where I needed to be. The people are friendly! The restaurant was really good and friendly workers. However, several things that were not good for the hotel stay. 1) The door wasn't sealed good. At a angle you can see outside and someone could see inside if they were a "peeping tom". 2) At about 11:30 pm there were a gathering of about 15-20 people in the parking lot and screaming and shouting. There were kids screaming and running up and down the stairs, at one point I thought there was a fight but one never happened (thank God!). It lasted for about an hour then got quiet. But about 30 minutes later there they go again with the kids running up and down the 2nd floor balcony and screaming. I would MAYBE stay there again.

GREEN Water Pool!!!
This was an ok hotel but seemed a little overpriced. The pool was not usable as the water was green and had not been maintained. So much for getting to enjoy relaxing in the pool!!

Very nice hotel, it was peaceful and quiet. The staff was nice, greeted customers and was very helpful. The on property restaurant was nice, clean, friendly and pretty good food.

Great Safe Night
It was a nice quiet place. My Autistic son an my grandson(17) was with me. I felt safe leaving there alone while I went to a Birthday party at a Local Pub. I knew they would be Safe an no one would bother them. When we go back an have to stay overnight, We will Definitely stay there again.

It was a good hotel. We were visiting for a funeral and it served all of our needs. All of the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the property in the nearby areas. I would definitely visit here again and recommend it to a friend. Great hotel great hotel great hotel great hotel great hotel

Christmas lights
Worst hotel I think I have stayed in. Staff was uninvolved when checking in. Bed and pillow super uncomfortable. And the next morning around 8am, the hotel lost power and when I went to use the phone in the room, it didn't even work. Super aggravated, got dressed ane left. When checking out, they couldn't even print a receipt. The guy checking me out promised a hotel receipt via email. Needless to say, I never got it.

I apologize for the inconvience that you have stated, but unfortunately we can not control the lights. If the lights are out we cannot print a reciept or check you out until the lights are back on. We were unaware of the phone not working but had we had known we would had fixed the problem.

フロントと客室が別の建物で、二階建てのアパートのような外観でした。プールもついていて、駐車場も広かったです。フロントの方も親切で、部屋も快適に過ごすことができました。料金もそれほど高くないですし、部屋も広く、設備もよかったです。フロントの横に朝食サービスがあるようでした。空港からは遠いので交通の便は要チェックです。

Fine for our need
We were traveling to the area for a holiday visit with family. Winnfield Lodge was the closest and least expensive hotel in the area that would allow us to stay with our dog. It worked fine for us. This place is not fancy, but the sheets were clean and the shower had good water pressure. If necessary, I'd stay here again.

Christmas trip
Location was great, beds very comfortable. The toilet was not cleaned inside or out. Asked for a non smoking room but the room was soiled in smoke. The shower had no handle bar to step in and the a/c unit was dirty, black speck were on the floor next to the unit.

At first glance this is a decent hotel but its not. Room was not all that bad i slept fine bed was comfortable but the wifi didnt work, tv was fuzzy, as i walked into my room i notice that the previous quests trash is still in the trash can, the bathtub had enough hair in it to weave a blanket but noone bothered to clean it, and finally if your not driving a compact car the parking lot is not for you

The bathrooms were outdated and smelled a bit dingy. The bed was comfortable and the size was good. Not noisy.

Good for what I needed it for...
I basically just needed somewhere to stay, so the room was good for what I needed it for. My only real complaint was that the decorative thing on the bed was clearly dirty...those things need to be washed with the sheets. But it was easily taken off, so no huge deal.

Pastor Rhodes - Highly Recommends
We have stayed here many times before. It is always clean and if there are any issues they are always handled right away. This stay was to attend a Saturday funeral and it was just what we needed.
