“I enjoy talking with front desk. Very personable. Breakfast choices are good. Coffee was delicious. Bed was comfortable. Thank you for being pet friendly. Didnt like that expedia.com sold me a pet friendly hotel room at the Holiday Inn but when I arrived there was a 30 dollar pet fee. FYI, the following night I stayed at the Quality Inn, they do not charge their customers an added fee. ”

“Updated but still has that “motor inn “ vibe. Clean and comfortable. Reasonable place to stay on the way to Bar Harbor. Bar / restaurant onsite was reasonable and good food. If your the type that has to have the 4star plus experience you might not like it but I thought it was perfect for the price ”

“Fireside Inn was friendly, courteous and helpful during my stay. The coffee was excellent and available at all hours. There was nothing I didn't like at all. Internet speed was excellent (I guess I read some out-dated reviews about it being very slow). Great stay and would recommend Fireside Inn! ”

“My husband and I were looking for a place to stay the night on a road trip up to Acadia so we booked at Howard Johnson. My only complaint was the overpowering smell in the lobby during check-in. However, once we got up to our room that smell was gone. The room was spacious and clean and I absolutely loved the look of the 1970's vibe. The bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out was great and the staff members were kind and helpful. We did not have breakfast in the morning, so I can't comment...
