When we pulled up, we realized there was a downstairs tenant and I called the host and she said well depending on where you found the listing that can be very hard to find online. Then there was a a very bad odor, like it was not cleaned thoroughly at all. Then, as we described when we reserved it,we have small kids and small kids are not always perfectly still. Every floorboard in the house creaks really loudly and by 8 o’clock the next morning, the downstairs tenant was playing his music very loud and banging on our door, telling us that his cat has anxiety and could not handle the continuous pitter patter of our kids feet on the floor above him. We felt it was too dirty and the whole situation was out of hand so we stayed the first night and then left. Communication has been virtually nonexistent with the host. They keep saying they will get back with me, but nothing has been done. So we went and spent several hundred dollars on a motel to finish our stay in the area. This was an awful experience I would not wish on anyone.
