An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation.
The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember.
The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you

The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay

Work in progress for the delightful new owner, Simon. It’s an historic property in the process of improving to Simon’s vision but isn’t there yet, while being fully serviceable. The food is excellent as is the location. Staff are quick to address any concerns and extremely helpful. The town information center is across the street as is the bus station. A 3.5 stay moving up the rankings but the older edifice isn’t there yet.

"Had a lovely stay in this railway cottage. Had everything we needed and booking, comms, access etc was super easy. Out all day walking, we chilled out reading in the conservatory early evening, followed by dinner and binge watching later on. Perfect!There are sheep everywhere and some loose wandering ..."

"Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was self serve and plenty of it. For the future to consider in the bedroom i noticed that the electric socket is a round 3 pin by the bed. It would be better for a update socket ..."
