“Room very dated. Shower soaks the bathroom. Shower seal hanging off so water poured onto the floor. Bath panel full of grime across the top and room carpet quite stained. Out view was a brick wall. I was very disappointed to be staying at the back of a garage and not in the actual hotel. I don’t think this was very clear when booking. If I had known I would not have booked. It certainly was not worth £159”
“A pleasant, convenient stopover on our road trip
This was a really nice spot to break up our road trip. The on-site bar was a highlight, offering a great food and drink menu alongside warm, attentive service from the staff. Having a quality breakfast included in the stay was a definite plus and set us up well for the drive ahead.

“Beautiful old property but unfortunately hasn’t been maintained. Very tired. Rooms had visible damp, peeling walls, broken glass in windows and flaking window frames. Bathrooms weren’t very clean, mouldy edges and rusting showers. Breakfast didn’t have items on menu. Manager eventually moved us to a better room but outside in the corridor were buckets catching the rain. Unfortunately unable to receive any refund for our first nights stay.
