VENDITA AGOSTO Un accogliente cottage nel Cotswold vicino a Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Soho Farm

Si tratta di un casolare in pietra classificato II grado che un tempo era la panetteria del villaggio e come tale conserva molte delle sue caratteristiche originali, tra cui l'originale porta del forno in ferro vittoriano, travi e pavimenti in pietra bandiera.
È un cottage accogliente con una buona atmosfera ed è completamente attrezzato secondo uno standard elevato e ha una stufa a legna nel soggiorno.
Ideale per visitare Woodstock, Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon e Soho Farmhouse e Londra.
Può ospitare 4 persone in una camera matrimoniale e una camera doppia con un ampio bagno. L'ingresso era un tempo il forno che conduceva in un soggiorno con porte-finestre su un ampio cortile. La sala da pranzo della cucina ha tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. All'esterno c'è una zona terrazzata con tavolo, sedie e un bar-b-q. e vista sulla campagna.
Vengono forniti asciugamani e lenzuola bianchi freschi e panni da cucina.
C'è un parcheggio fuori strada.

Dream cosy and welcoming old cottage!

We arrived with dark but as soon as we entered the cottage we felt at home. We met Rose the day after, she has been so kind to leave us a high chair for the little one and to give us exceptional availability of her garden since she was off for her own holidays (I hope they went well!). We felt very sorry as little Anna broke a flower pot and I broke a plate while doing the washing up. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to meet Rose again in person and we hope that what we left to replace them was acceptable. We greatly enjoyed this area of England during a week of exceptionally good weather and if we will be back in the area we will definitely consider the Old Bakehouse again, lots of hugs to Rose and thank you again Eleonora, Andrea, Ester and Anna

Perfect stay!

The Old Baker House was idyllic; it had oodles of charm and all the mod coms, comfortable sleeping too. All while nestled in the wonderful village of Stonesfield. Enjoyed the newly revived local pub, make many locals and Rosamund was the best! Thanks for a perfect stay!

Charming and comfortable

We had a wonderful time. The house was fully outfitted with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and a huge tub. The off street parking was such a bonus. The location was great too. Nothing in the Cotswold was too far away.

Cozy Cottage

Quaint & cozy cottage. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed watching the sunset on the patio. Definitely need a car as no restaurants in walking distance. Ros was a great host & had detailed information on restaurants & activities in the area.

Lovely cottage and owner.

This is such a quaint cottage In a small quiet village. The owner lives next door and the cottage was clean and well presented with all towels and basic amenities in place. Prosecco and flowers was a nice touch. Be warned the stairs are quite steep in keeping with the age of the property but this shouldn’t be a problem for most. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s lots to see and do nearby.

Beautiful property

Our stay with Ros was fabulous! The cottage was absolutely charming, very well equipped and spotless. The scones and homemade jam to welcome us were just the final touch! The driveway to the cottage is a little difficult to negotiate but pretty much everyone in the village would stop and help us. We could not have had a better stay!

A Proper Cotswold Experience!

My husband and I absolutely loved this place so beautiful. The cottage is really cosy and nothing was too much for the owner Roz, such a wonderful lady who gave us great tips on where and best times to visit places. The Old Bakehouse felt very homely and it was so lovely to receive homemade scones and jam on our arrival. You won't be disappointed and we shall certainly miss the place. Was certainly a great find!

Cotswolds Charmer!

We loved our stay at the Old Bakehouse for endless reasons! The home and town feel to be straight out of a movie with lovely furnishings, and glorious bedding. It is perfectly appointed with all that is needed for an enjoyable stay. We feel we have a friend in Ros, were rescued by Ian (one of the Stonesfield townspeople) when our rental car agency in Oxford was closed (our advice: go through EuroCar instead of Budget!), and enjoyed the White Horse, a local pub. We found ourselves throughout our daily travels in the Cotswolds longing to be among the authenticity in Stonesfield. We missed our chance to see local archeological treasures and walk the local paths and look forward to a return stay! PS Rosamund makes amazing scones and strawberry jam!

Eine schöne Woche in Stonesfield

Wir haben mit vier Personen eine Woche in diesem tollen Häuschen verbracht. Es ist viel Liebe eingerichtet und Ros, die gleich nebenan wohnt, ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Das Haus war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick und eine Sitzgelegenheit vor der Tür. In Stonesfield kann man kleine Einkäufe erledigen und einen guten Pub aufsuchen.Für sehr große Personen könnte die obere Etage, die einige Schrägen aufweist, jedoch problematisch sein. Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter. Vielen Dank für eine tolle Woche.
