“Upon arrival we were given a room beside the elevator and main door to the floor. The room smelled and the door from the elevator area would bang every time someone came through. We asked for another room and the less than pleasant staff member did give us a new room which we were appreciative of until we walked in. The overpowering smell of chemical cleaner was intense. “Everything was excellent except the room servicing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and meal service was v good. The only disappointments were the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The room needed vacuuming and the loo and shower needed a good clean. Also, cups, glasses and tea hadn’t been replenished. Oh, and when we returned from sightseeing on Sat evening we couldn’t get a space in the carpark as it was full of pub visitors. Would be good if they had spaces...

“All'interno di una antica struttura, il Bay Tree Hotel si presenta molto accogliente, caldo, silenzioso. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, pronto, un piccolo giardino curato dove poter sostare e bere, colazione ricca e varia. Camera grande e accogliente. Un bar interno e una sala lettura con camino (però con una ventola rumorosa e poco illuminata) completano questo hotel sicuramente da consigliare.”
