“30 years ago my husband and I stayed at this hotel on our first trip to MT. We were so impressed with the cooked to order breakfast back then and I was amazed they still offer it today! The hotel could use a little updating, but the staff and breakfast made our trip down memory lane worthwhile!”

“Cabin was a gem. Communication for checking in was an 3hr delay. I was not able to get into cabin till 5:30pm, check in was at 4pm. Email to host was sent at 3pm asking for code. Had to call the third party to request access code due to no response. Also, property has no showers and has an out house, that was not in listing. Cabin is right in town, not in a woodland area”

“The Maple Suite is the most welcoming, clean, well furnished home away from home. Absolutely charming with much consideration given by the host to make the stay the best. The sunrises and sunsets while photographing the thousands of snow geese on Freezeout Lake only four miles away were stunning. ”

“Property smelled of either gasoline or diesel. But it was perfectly and uniquely decorated and was otherwise very clean. This property and location was not suited for the needs of my trip, but it was NOT the fault of the owners. I simply didn’t realize how far away it was from where we were headed on our trip. It would be perfect for a Fly fishing trip”

“Staying in a refurbished original old jail house was worth the stay and I found it humorous that the bars were left over the windows, that just made it all the more worthwhile! The living space was clean and tidy and all the amenities a person needs were accounted for. I also liked the fact that it was right in town. Definitely recommend it to anyone! ”

The host was maybe the best I have ever worked with because she made some arrangements due to a change in my schedule. Will absolutely stay here again.”

“This is a very unique experience to stay here. You are staying in a "trophy room" of beautifully done taxidermy. There were a lot more animals than we expected but were very impressed. Very clean and quiet. They provide a toaster oven, Keurig, and microwave. There is not cooktop or coffee pot. Great communication was appreciated. ”
