Its location along the River Ore and proximity to Orford Ness Nature Reserve make it an attractive spot for twitchers and walkers. Woodbridge (12 miles) is a delightful market town known for its scenic riverside setting along the River Deben. The town's historic streets are lined with independent shops, restaurants, and cafes, offering a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Woodbridge is also a gateway to the nearby Sutton Hoo archaeological site, which holds treasures from the Anglo-Saxon era, adding a touch of history to its charm. Tucked away on the outskirts of the village, this wooden-clad holiday home is the rural retreat you have been looking for. Set over two floors and offering a reverse-living layout, it features wonderful views across the fields and over the River Alde. The ground floor hosts the two bedrooms; one king-size and one twin, with use of a shared family bathroom. There is also a lovely reading room with a plush sofa, a desk for remote working and a small library of books to revel in. Heading upstairs, you’ll find an open-plan space featuring the lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated appliances and an island for preparing delicious meals, as well as a dining area with seating for all. At the other end of the space is the living area, which has two sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner to keep you warm during the chillier months. The garden features a small patio with a dining table and chairs. Pockets of wildflowers grow alongside the longer patches of grass, whilst a mown path meanders along the fence edge to views across the fields.
