  • Una proprietà dal tetto di paglia risalente a oltre 500 anni con vista su campi e prati antichi. Buone strutture e passeggiate nel raggio di 100 metri. . Un gradino più in basso, dall'ingresso al grande soggiorno, con il fuoco a "effetto carbone" del gas. Un passo giù dalla hall alla sala da pranzo. Un gradino più in basso dal corridoio alla cucina ben attrezzata in stile fattoria con pavimento in vinile. Travi in tutto. Un gradino più in basso dalla hall al bagno separato. Scale ripide al primo piano: un gradino più in basso dall'atterraggio alla camera matrimoniale con letto da 5 piedi e piccolo armadio a muro. Camera doppia, con due gradini fino al secondo pianerottolo e seconda scala. Camera singola con lavabo e un gradino più in basso per l'atterraggio con armadio a muro. Bagno con travi a vista con attacco doccia e servizi igienici .. - Gas "effetto carbone" inc

    . Questa deliziosa struttura in legno, in bianco e nero, con tetto in paglia (costruita nel 1420) è un bell'esempio di cottage "cruck", una delle prime forme di architettura domestica inglese. Staccata, ha un ampio giardino con vista su campi e prati antichi. Si trova lungo la strada principale per il villaggio di Callow End (200 metri) che ha un negozio del paese, due pub eccellenti e passeggiate incantevoli. A breve distanza sono le splendide Malvern Hills, Great Malvern e Worcester con la sua bella cattedrale, i negozi, i ristoranti eccellenti. Negozi 100 iarde.

    Ci sono scale ripide al primo piano: un gradino giù dall'atterraggio alla camera matrimoniale. Camera doppia, con due gradini fino al secondo pianerottolo e seconda scala. Le finestre al piano di sopra non hanno restrizioni. Bagno con travi a vista. C'è un laghetto non recintato nel giardino a 20 metri dalla proprietà, coperto di reti. L'uso del piano è concordato con il proprietario. Solo fino a due cani.

    Glebe cottage is an old thatched cottage with lots of steps and uneven surfaces both inside and outside in the garden . We found the beams very low even tho we are not tall people , but it's all part and parcel for such an old cottage . Furniture in places was well worn and carpets too , don't get me wrong they were all still usable and serviceable . Oven worked but made some strange noises . The garden was large and secure but the paths were worn out in places and unsafe for anyone unstable on their feet. There is a field at back of cottage that you can use and we found this very useful . However cottage did us for what we needed ,but because of the low beams and darkness of rooms we wouldn't consider renting again .

    Lovely country side cottage

    Great place if one wants to experience living in an old thatched cottage. Warm and cosy. Lovely to wake up to the country side views but at the same time close to enough to Worcester to have all the town’s facilities on hand

    Had a lovely christmas here thank you. The house far exceeded our expectations as we thought the price was really cheap for christmas week in comparison to other cottages we had looked at. It truely is a very beautiful special house. The garden is amazing and i would love to see it in summer. I have only marked it down a bit on location just because the road is quite busy which would not be a problem but for that manhole on the road that gives a loud bang every time someone goes over it. Luckily the house is very well soundproofed. I cant believe no one has reported it to the council. So thank you to the owners for giving us the opportunity to live in a beautiful thatched cottage for a week
