“We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”

“Traveled with family. We stayed in chalet 1. This included 3 bedrooms, 1 of which has its own bathroom and shower. There is a patio in that room as well. The other 2 rooms were spacious and all beds were comfortable. The downstairs has 2 full bathroom and showers. This was nice as each family had their own space. Additionally, this specific chalet, has 3 designated parking spots which was confirmed with the staff. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware. The entire place was nice and clean...

“The rooms are spacious, modern, and have everything you could possibly need. We loved all of the fire pits around the property and the nightly s'mores. The large grass lawn was awesome for lawn games for the kids and the pool / spa were amazing as well.”

“The name is very deceiving. Resort and beach club. It's no resort. And there is no beach club. You have to walk a couple blocks to get into the lake. The hotel gives you coupons for what I don't know. Because you have to pay to get in. It is not even part of the hotel. The hot tub was so dirty. It had gray gunk all the way around it . The pool was the same way with a lot of debris because the grounds themselves were not hose cleaned swept or anything with weeds growing out of the cracks. The...

“The property was clean and family friendly but not particularly well maintained. Everywhere I looked things were worn out and beat up, some of which were a safety concern. Beware this is a time share resort. If you book through expedia they will try to get you to attend a presentation by offering you a free night or some other compensation. They say it's low pressure and only two hours but don't believe it. And don't fall for the pitch. They tried to sell me a package for 15k that I could have...
