My girlfriends and I went down to the beach on the spur of the moment to enjoy a sudden burst of good weather. We found the house perfect for our needs, but I could also see a family with kids enjoying it as well. The wrap around porch made sitting outside great no matter what time of day. The back porch is perfect for morning coffee!We found the location to be just what we wanted. First, it was four houses or so from the beach, making walking down to catch the sunrise or sunset a small jaunt. But even better, we were three blocks from "downtown" Wrightsville Beach. There is a small grocery, several restaurants, bars, and a couple cute shops there. One morning, we went for a power walk, then hit the Workshop which has smoothies and breakfast sandwiches which were delicious. Another night, we walked the other direction to go to a restaurant called Solstice Kitchen & Cocktails for dinner. The food was fantastic. So lots to do without needing a car. We even walked to Poe's Tavern for burgers for lunch one day. We got our steps in, but found the food and drinks worth the effort. So, the location was excellent!The house itself had comfortable beds (and great pillows!), lots of glasses to make cocktails and drink wine, and a kitchen that had all the items we needed to cook in for most of our meals. We took the provided beach chairs with us to sit on the beach and soak up the sun.Overall, we would stay there again, bringing our families. Super cute and perfectly located!
