Oceanfront beach cottage on the South end of Wrightsville Beach. Sleeps 14.

Southern Exposure is a wonderful oceanfront beach cottage on the South end of Wrightsville Beach. The home boasts 7 bedrooms, and is perfect for large family groups looking to enjoy a classic beach house on the quieter end of the island. There are 3 bedrooms on the ground level (one with a queen bed and two with 2 twin beds each), which is accessible from either the front or side of the house. The main floor of the home contains the kitchen, living area, and a bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a bathroom on this floor. The top floor has the remaining 3 bedrooms, with a king, queen, and full sized bed, respectively. There is also a shared bathroom on this floor.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need for meals in, and there are multiple dining areas, including a picnic table on the lower level of the ocean facing deck. The top level deck is the true gem of the home, giving guests an elevated panoramic view of the Southern end of our island, and the private walkway to the beach ensures easy trips back and forth. Book your stay now to enjoy a piece of Wrightsville history!

The house is in bad shape: peeling paint;dark, smelly basement bedrooms; tub faucet broken in one bathroom; no lighting for steps down to basement bedrooms. Since this house is 100 years old, it should be advertised as such, at a greatly reduced rental rate.We will not be using VRBO or Intrcoastal Realty for vacation rentals again.
