Absolute gem
I cannot say enough about this gem of a property and the property managers. Every little touch was thought of, and we felt like we were home the second we walked in the door. The communication couldn't have been better and I felt comfortable knowing that if anything was needed they were readily available. House was clean and comfortable, our pet was warmly welcomed as much as the two legged visitors. Will definitely be returning.

We had a great stay at the cottage. The place was cozy and well equipped. They even left some toys and a special message for our kids. Would recommend!

So charming! The hosts have been very communicative and added special touches to make our visit special. The cabin is more spacious than I anticipated. It is in a quiet neighborhood. We are only staying one night and I wish we could stay longer to enjoy the cabin and the yard.

Lilac Cottage
My wife, daughter, two dogs and I stayed at the Lilac Cottage for two nights. The cabin was very nice. Small but clean and comfortable. The fenced backyard was great for the dogs. The house is in a quiet neighborhood among lots of pine trees but not far from shops and cafes. Very pretty area.

Great cabin!!!
Enjoyed out time in this cabin. The host is most gracious. The place was spotless and comfy. It was well stocked with cream for our coffee in the morning. It is very close to the shops downtown Wrightwood. The backyard was nice to have for our dog and for us. Chairs and hammock were comfortable. Plan to come back!

Wonderful experience, highly recommend
We visited the Lilac Cottage while staying in Wrightwood for my daughter’s birthday. The place was so clean and cozy and perfect for our family and pets. It has a very rustic feel which is always what you want when staying in the mountains. But it also has all the modern conveniences, and the hosts have added so many adorable details. The beds were super comfy and we enjoyed the fun games in the backyard. I do wish there was a back door leading to the back yard, would be a lot more convenient with pets, but not a big deal. Other than that our stay was perfect in every way and the hosts even added some thoughtful birthday surprises for my daughter. She was so excited. Thank you for an amazing experience, we would love to visit again soon!

The layout of the cabin is perfect for a family. The personal touch like the chess set, little dog den with mood light, the play room/loft full of cute toys make this place beyond special. The backyard has hammock and dart game. Such a fun and beautiful place :)

Loved the welcome sign, best communications, great backyard, and very clean insid. Back door was broken and bathroom doorknob was designed for left-hand people or something, which is very minor.

Wonderful stay.
We booked a last minute trip during spring break to go snowboarding and sledding, and uncovered the most adorable cabin in Wrightwood. Only 2 minutes from Wrightwood city center and 7 minutes from Mountain High. The cabin was ideal for our family but would even be great for a couples get away. Had wonderful amenities to enjoy with kids but even had items (like a fire pit, hammock and bbq) to enjoy during summer months. Definitely going back again.

The property is the perfect quaint escape from city life. The ambiance and layout were cozy and inviting and made my family feel very much at home. I would highly recommend "The Little Red House" for any family that wants to enjoy their stay at Wrightwood.

Thank you Kat. This cabin was originally built in the 1920s & definitely has those small and cozy vibes, like many others built around that same time. Thank you for being great guests!
