Easter Break Fishing Trip
Wonderful bach. Had everything you need. We fished at the mussel farms and surrounds each day. Launching and retrieving the boat was easy enough at the bottom of the driveway - we have a 6.5 metre runabout. Nikki was fantastic to deal with.

Absolutely perfect
Loved our stay here. We made great use of the kayaks, and the walk behind the house to the top of the hill was stunning. Breakfast every morning on the deck was always a fab start to the day and a great place to relax in the evening. The location was also a good base for things to do around Coromandel. The house had everything we needed for a Christmas we'll always remember fondly. Would love to come back one day. Thank you, Nikki!

Absolute Wondrous Destination
The delight to see it the same, was awesome, the closeness to the beach our old realities managed the stairs and walk easily. The Californian Quail waiting at the v=back door when we woke was a delete, nicely furnished, well appointed, loved doing the linen extra this time!! Thanks we will be back !

Tranquility
Such a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the bach's view and comfort. We did the walk to Long Beach and Tuck Beach and around the Kauri tree - really recommend this walk. Thank you Char for being so accommodating with linen supply. Thank you Nikki for the privilege to use your bach.

Chilled weekend
Awesome spot. Would stay again for sure. Outside Rubbish’s bins we’re full when we got there so felt sink to put our two bags on ground. Hope the cats didn’t get in to them.

Hi Dave. No worries at all as it was under the carport and our amazing cleaner would have dealt with them speedily. The rubbish bins were also due to be emptied the day after you arrived. :-)

A very relaxing get away
Beautifully clean, very quiet location. My only negative is had to do dishes and put them away before we left, normally you just put the dishwasher on and the cleaner puts them away, that's what the cleaning fee should include.

Comfortable bach with amazing views and great location
We chose this location because we were able to book two bach's side by side for our extended family holiday. We loved the location with it's private beach and boat ramp right outside. Our kids had an awesome time using the kayaks and exploring the surrounds. The bach itself was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed.

Perfect spot, warm, cosy relaxing home
What a beautiful spot, myself and three old friends needed a getaway and we found it. Kayaking in the morning, fire and yarning in the evening. The Chromecast on the TV have us some couch time later in the evening. Thanks for the break!!!

Perfect for R & R
A beautiful property for any season...toasty warm with the fire despite a polar blast and storm, nice for quick walks around the bays, quiet and private, perfect for chillaxing..just 10 mins from Coromandel township makes everything accessible too. We look forward to a summer experience with the kyaks

Great spot - cozy home
We had a great stay, house was cozy and the fire was already laid when we got there. Toys in the cupboard for our little ones. Climb the hill up the back (it isn’t too steep just weaves) it’s an incredible view. We arrived in the dark and couldn’t find the driveway easily (you drive right up to the grey house on the waterfront and then the driveway leads to the right). Beautiful spot, we fished off the wharf and had dinner at a pub in Coromandel. Thanks for a lovely thoughtful stay.

Hi Laura. So pleased you had a good stay and the fire kept you nice and warm. We have put some solar lights near the number on the fence to help people find it, but clearly we need to try something else too. :-)

Family Time at Ruffins
Great spot with awesome views across the bay to wake up to each morning! The bach layout to super easy and very social being open plan. Plenty of room for vehicles and boat with water handy to run boat motor etc The private beach with boat ramps makes it handy az for launching boat. Great finding out about Ruffins bay history from the friendly locals. Will be planning another stay in the future for sure.

Most amazing special piece of paradise

Definitely a secret treasure - Amazing stay
The check in was easy, no need to meet anyone or go to another location for the key. The property is tidy and what a view. Beds super comfy with a well stocked kitchen for utensils and cookware. Private road didnt have to put up with cars going in and out. The bay was peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Quiet & peaceful
Right out of the hub of activity but close enough to everything. Ideal place if you want a few quiet days. The township is close enough that we could duck in and get fish & chips but then could get away from traffic noise & bussle Killer sunrises!

We had an amazing family holiday at Ruffins Rocks. The house was so well set up, very well presented and had everything we needed. Being able to take out the kayaks was awesome. Nikki was great with communication and everything was just easy. We will absolutely be back for another stay.

We had another fabulous time at Ruffins Rock. The weather wasn't the greatest but it is so picturesque it didn't matter. We will be back again some time no doubt. Nikki is a great host and was quick to answer any queries. If you want a quiet place to relax not far from Corromandel town then this is the place!

Relaxed getaway , boat ramp on the beach, beautiful clear water for swimming. The property had ample parking for 3 cars and 2 boats and the house had everything you needed with a great deck .

Comfy and cosy for those winter breaks
Nikki was a great host and provided all the information to make it easy for us to find etc. Ruffins Bay is such an idyllic spot and the house was so comfy and cosy. The fire place was a real bonus over the very cold days we stayed. Thanks again and will recommend to others.

Beautiful property and spectacular view
This property is beatiful, private and overall spectacular. Having use of the kayaks was super helpful so we could get our long line out. Only 5-10min drive to town for supplies. Would definetley stay here again.

We had the most relaxing time, very peaceful and views to die for. Highly recommend this property if you just want to escape from the ratrace and relax. Fishing was great too. Quick response from the owner when you had a question. Will definitely be back
