We stayed at this new hotel for 5 nights during the Chinese New Year. Despite the fact this hotel is located away from major tourists sites, it was almost fully booked. The architecture itself is something to marvel. The service AND amenities are far beyond the normal standard of any Grand Hyatt. Scarlett and her colleague at the front desk immediately made us feel at home with their attentive service. We booked a corner room on higher floors which had a spectacular view of the city. The restaurant on 22nd floor offers good mixture of Western and local delicacies for breakfasts. Although it was mostly packed with guests, the staff still managed to handle our daily cappuccino requests in a timely fashion. The gym, pool and spa are also one of best we've experienced. After so many days of Chinese food, we decided to try their Italian restaurant. As frequent travelers to Italy, we were so impressed with both the quality and authenticity of the food. Couldn't believe the hotel was just opened in April 2018 considering the fact that everyone is so well trained. Even our maid left hand written notes a few times wishing us a Happy New Year. Very touched and impressed. Would definitely stay there again when we visit Xi'an.
