There are no restaurants or stores in the area to speak of, but no need for these at this Gorgeous resort with outstanding dining options and wellness activities such as yoga, spa services, and hiking. My advice to travelers: stay two nights rather than one because of the limited arrival and departure times. Also, review and plan your activities before arrival.”

“Located in a convenient location in Hualien. It is a perfect place that is within walking distance to the dongdamen night market and many other day markets around the area. We had a fabulous stay and loved the new modern look of the hotel. The decor and feel of the hotel makes you feel like you're in a building with the French quarter. The owners/operators of the hotel were very attentive and even offered us umbrellas after witnessing us get soaked the first day we arrived. ”
