We loved the location, space, and view! The house was stocked with everything we needed, save for olive oil and tin foil. We liked the hot tub, but I did need to contact customer service for the code to get in.

Decent property near the beach and seconds from town.. The beds upstairs very comfortable.. Unfortunately, the 2 beds listed downstairs were actually cots.. I had to make those beds myself.. Good beach views.. Fruit trees on property were very cool!! We even had a mom and 2 baby deer visit!

Had a great stay here! Was here late July for my wedding, so had a full house with our family and a friend. Great location on the hill but an easy walk. Great layout of house, lots of room, would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation and this house was a great fit. Nice big dining table, multiple levels, jacuzzi, great view.Note: there are 3 rooms and a basement den, not 4 rooms as advertised. Wi-Fi wasn't dependable. Location is awesome. House was clean

Absolutely what I hoped for

The house is strolling distance to the village and shoreline, with beautiful views from the windows and decks. Washer/dryer seemed to be brand new, dishwasher worked great. The whole house was really clean and had plenty of towels and kitchen utensils for the meals we made. I was concerned that the rental would be too fancy for us to use comfortably, but it’d just *nice*, not fussy. The property management (vacasa) was friendly and quick to respond. I cannot fault anything.

Work excursion

Wonderful, relaxing stay while we were in the area for work. The home and property were very clean and relaxing with beautiful views of the ocean. We were able to wind down with good home cooked meals in a well equipped kitchen and relax in the hot tub afterwards. Made our work week very enjoyable!

Great stay!

We loved the layout of this home as we could spread out on different floors, we really enjoyed the hot tub, and the view from the deck and the living room was gorgeous! It was a little bit longer walk to the beach than we expected, but the walk to town was easy. Unfortunately, the kitchen situation was a little funky, there wasn’t a single regular frying pan on which we could cook the eggs or pancakes we planned, and there also wasn’t any salt and pepper. Other than that, we loved this home!

Weekend stay in Yachets

The house has a great view and lots of room. However the Futon in the basement was not able to be used as a bed like described in the listing. There are a lot of trees and bushes on the property and the ones in the drive way and by the stairs leading up to the front door need to be cut back. It is a close walk down the hill to town and the beach.

House was fine but lack of attention to certain things lacking

After checking in, we had to make several calls to Vacasa customer service as we couldn't unlock the hot tub and the bath tub drain was broken. The hot tub was secured closed with a cable and large padlock. It took a couple of calls to determine there was a code area which was obscured as the entire lock sat on the decking and it was dark. The code provided was not correct. A local person came by the next day and had to cut the cable. Make sure if you rent this home with small children that the hot tub lid has again been secured and that the small stool is placed somewhere away from the hot tub. Another problem was that the bathtub couldn't be used as the lever system to close the drain was broken. It had apparently been broken since 2021? Another issue was that there was only one, small frying pan that wasn't too "icky" to use. By "icky" I mean that the pan was damaged and worn out. Of the two remotes for the living room TV, only one functioned, or had anything to do with the TV. The one that did function clearly needs to be replaced, as the buttons seem to be worn out. The sound (stuck sometimes at a volume of 27 and mostly on Netflix) was also a nuisance. There is an odd smell in the basement which smelled something like varnish. It lessened with the window being kept open. It's also odd that only a starter amount of toilet paper and paper towels are available. We had to buy toilet paper, which I think should be included. No access to a host or owner was annoying.

Fun and beautiful

We loved staying in the cute little village of Yachats! Thankfully we brought plenty of food because there are few restaurants and groceries nearby. The house was really fun for 6 kids and 4 adults. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with cooking items, even a rice cooker and basic spices that we used. The lighter was helpful to do a fire on the beach across the street and make s’mores. The listing said two twin beds and those were just roll out beds in the basement, not real beds in a bedroom. It took us an hour to figure out how to plug the hot tub in and get it heating up. Overall, we loved this cute house and the view was gorgeous. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean, eating blackberry cobbler from wild blackberries we picked, smelling the lilacs and watching hummingbirds, while my kids played with the friends we were staying with.

Great house for a stay in Yachats!

Great overall, some of the property management choices are odd, like not enough garbage bags and the trash cans upon arrival were full. Did not deter us from a great vacation though!

Great view and location

Loved the huge windows onto the deck with a tremendous ocean view. The kitchen was small but had all the necessary equipment to cook our dinners. There are a lot of steps to reach the front door, but the back entrance has stepping stones leading up the hill which was a little easier. The bedrooms were nicely sized. The Sofa bed is really a futon in a lower level game room and the twin beds are roll aways kept in a closet. This was the room I stayed in and it had a musty smell. I ran the dehumidifier the entire time which helped but was noisy. I ended up sleeping in the recliner because the futon wasn't very comfortable. My friends loved their rooms and beds- so don't get the short straw when it's time to choose where you sleep!

Great view and location!

We all had a great time staying here. The views of the ocean from the balconies were stunning and the town center was easily walkable. The kitchen had more than enough to easily cook a few meals. Overall the house was great, clean and easy to check in.

Family Fun in great location

The house worked great for our family group of 8. Location was walking distance to town and beach. House was clean and well equipped Beds were our only issue as they were soft and lumpy. Sheets were somewhat scratchy. Not a big enough issue to not stay again if in area

Can't believe how lucky I was to stay here

The location is amazing. It was so quite, yet was just a couple blocks walk to all the restaurants and pubs in Yachats. The two balconies with ocean views were so relaxing. I'm afraid to say more as I don't want everyone to book this place as I hope to stay again soon.

Just a great last minute (week) house for staying near the ocean beach

Just right feel for amount of people milling about, great fireworks show, close to small town with farmers market, art show, good restaurant, etc.
