What a beautiful property! Superbly clean, super comfortable, with a sanctuary in the back yard that is secure for my rescue Jack Russell Terrier. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck just listening to the birds and relaxing. The view from the dining room and front deck can’t be beat! So close to Yachats yet secluded. Thanks to the owners for sharing your beautiful home!

What a delightful cottage. Pet friendly and the place was very clean. Great kitchen with all the items you need. This is my second time to stay there and it was another great get away. Communication was great. I highly recommend staying at the Garden Cottage.

Lovely place for exploring Yachats and beyond

Reviewer Comments: We returned this year for the reasons in our review of June 2025: great location for exploring the local area, comfortable, clean and well appointed house, fenced yard for our dog, which is also blooming with spring and early summer flowers so enjoyable for guests as well. Driveway was a bit hard to see but that actually added to the charm of the house. Comfy bed to rest after full days exploring the coast...we will definitely be back

Really good communication with the mgmt company. House was clean, kitchen is well equipped with a view of the ocean from the dining room table (bonus!). Perfect place to stay for our trip to the Yachats Celtic Music Festival.

Home away from home

We loved staying at this little cottage. It was very charming, and clean. The beds were comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is a privacy cling on the lower half of the bathroom window. We would totally stay there again!

Birthday weekend trip

Outstanding relaxing time on Oregon coast. We also live in an Oregon coastal town yet still enjoy the unique experience a yahchats had to offer as well as this beautiful rental house.

Lovely home in Yachats

Initially surprised to be staying on East side of 101 but turned out to be a beautiful short walk to the beach and town. Great comfortable and spacious home for us and small dogs. We had such a great time! Thank you for hosting us

Great Gem in the Gem of the Coast

We LOVED staying at this little cottage. It was so clean and well stocked with anything you might need. We loved sitting at the table having coffee and looking at the waves. The front and back porch are both darling and the flowers around the yard are lovely. We loved the town of Yachats too!

Boys trip 2024

Great little place just outside of town within walking distance to the ocean. Little bit longer of a walk into town but still a good location. House and amenities are in good shape and working order. We will definitely look for this property on our return visits.

Property was well equipped, clean, private and decorated tastefully. We only used one bedroom and bed was not very comfortable. TV package provided limited channels and surprisingly no ability to use Netflix. Dog barking constantly for hours every day of our stay in adjacent yard.

Charming cottage, clean, comfortable, attractive.

My spouse and I went for 5 days. We loved this place. The view of the ocean from the kitchen window is a plus, and it’s only about a 5 minute walk to the shore. Because it’s right on highway 101 it is noisy unless all windows are closed, but the tasteful furnishings are so clean and comfortable and cozy. We would stay there again.

I felt like I was staying at a friend's house. Everything that I needed or wanted was there from cookware to tea towels. The beautiful private garden in back was icing on the cake.

Great location and cozy home.

The place is clean and well equipped. Everything was comfortable, the beds, the couch, the bathroom, everything. So easy to get to the beach and to the Hwy heading anywhere. If you are wanting to cook a gourmet meal, bring your own specialty equipment, the kitchen is stocked with basics.
