Hotel a Yakkalamulla

“It was the most unpleasant stay in Sri Lanka and in general in several years traveling in Asia. The receptionist was totally unfriendly, just interested in getting us out out the hotel....and we understood why: some rooms were under renovation, so there was noise from early in the morning through the day. Nobody addressed us any excuse or recognize any kind of compensation for that. The guy at the restaurant was superb and hostyle, trying to reduce breakfast against what was our right to receive...

“Friendly hosts who showed us the property and let us enjoy in peace. Stronger wifi would have been helpful, however the location and the cleanliness helped us overlook that!”

“great place! the breakfast was delicious and portion sizes were great. I visited during the off season and had the entire place and pool to myself. the AC in the room and hot water pressure in the bathroom was a great surprise.pool was great and clean and we'll maintained. you can take a pickme to go around the town and get to the beach . would visit again”

“Stunning hotel and amazing staff !! We went with the whole family and had an incredible time, would highly recommend”

“This was actually our second stay at Lum as when our flights were delayed we wanted a little haven to relax and enjoy our extra time in the South. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and everything about the complex made it feel like a lovely place to stay. Fresh, spacious, clean rooms that surrounded a relaxing garden and a beautiful pool area. We ate out for most meals but also sampled the breakfast and main menu here and all the food was very tasty and beautifully presented. I would...

“Check in can be faster, takes way too long for checkin”

“Camera pulitissima, viene sistemata 2 volte al giorno. Personale gentilissimo e qualificato, cena spettacolare, colazione varia, medici competenti, servizio impeccabile, yoga e meditazione, piscina stupenda , trattamenti Ayurvedici da sogno,ti coccolano tanto. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti, abbiano già consigliato la struttura ad amici, ci ritorneremo volentieri... ”

“What a relaxing special place! Staff were wonderful - couldn’t do enough for you! The hotel was beautiful, the pool area and restaurants were special! Food was incredible. We Absolutly loved our week here. Thanks so much.”

“Loved the villa. The staff was very nice and the food was great.”

“Needs to be much more customer and traveller oriented on your inside restaurant and Bar needs to be much more colourful and separate.”

“Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country.”
