“The property was very convenient, close to everything.
The location of the hotel was great, Newport was 25 minutes away, and the Scarbough Beach was 9 minutes ago.
The Front Desk Receptionist was very welcoming, professional and friendly.”
“I loved the outdoor set up with picnic tables and a huge lawn. The restaurant at the front of the property had an outside dining area and was wonderful!”
“We stayed during the week and it was so quiet and private yet in the middle of an area that has tons to do. Close to beaches to walk the shore, restaurants, etc. We had great food on the property and enjoy the pool and grounds. Will return! ”
“If you book through expedia or other sites, make sure you provide your HHonors number at check in or they will refuse to print a receipt for you. I had to complain with the customer service twice before the hotel emailed the stay receipt via email. Something they refused to do at check out, because I did not book on their website. The hotel is a bit outdated, but staff is friendly and professional. The wifi is fast, if compared with other hampton inn, the gym is very good, rooms are spacious....

Our room was super spacious, spotless and so quiet! We had the large, clean pool all to ourselves. We were impressed with the quality and quantity of breakfast offerings. We can’t wait to return! ”
“Over the years we have stayed in almost every fine hotel in Newport. We have made the Castle Hill Inn our regular habit. This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...
“We booked through Expedia and when we arrived there was no rooms. A wonderful lady at the desk was already on the phone with Expedia to get us odging at another hotel. Long story short at Aqua Blue came through because Expedia could not. I highly recommend Aqua Blue and DO NOT EVER RECOMMEND USING Expedia. After many hours on the phone with Expedia we ended up with just a credit that we probably will NEVER USE ”
