“Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. “Outside areas were beautiful, a lovely long sweeping drive up to an impressive building with plenty of parking. , The reception and bar areas were nicely decorated, tidy and modern and were inviting. The pool area was ok, some jets not working but nice and warm and fairly large. 1 Sadly, some of the restaurant area was run down , a bit perfunctory & bland along with the food. “Had a lovely stay this weekend. The cooked breakfast was lovely! Staff very friendly. I liked the trolley available to help ourselves to top ups of towels, water and extra tea and coffee supplies. Quiet location. Bed was a little creaky, but comfortable, on ground level which was nice too. Bathroom grouting could do with a little de-moulding, and shower heads could be a little higher. Also plug sockets by the bed would also be more helpful. But overall, i cant complain and would stay again!”
