“So lucky to have found this hidden gem near Mountain View. We booked over a year in advance to see and experience the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. My husband brought two telescopes for the solar eclipse and the weather cooperated nicely. “This is our 2nd visit in six months. Very clean, comfortable accommodations. Linsey is a great host. We did spectacular catching trout on the White River thanks to our long term guide David Talor from Sore Lip'm out of Heber Springs. We stay three nights and will continue to do this two to three times a year for years down the road. Also the cottage is within 2 miles of great food, the 178 club and Bush's Pizza. Can't wait to go back.”

“My wife, and I took a weekend to get away from our phones, grab the dog, and spend some time together in nature with our phones turned off. This was the perfect place for it. Secluded spot with helpful, friendly hosts; Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals; fishing was great; paddleboat was awesome; homemade apple pecan bread was fantastic (as advertised in other reviews); pup had plenty of area to run. A much need weekend away! We will be back!”

“Such a cute, modern space. The house is equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub next door is a great perk and it’s such a quiet, peaceful area. We also loved the porch and fire pits.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. The view from the house and patio is gorgeous. It is quiet and serene and very private. There is an office off the master bedroom that is in a sun room. It was a great place to work! The owner was very responsive and helpful when I had a question or an issue to be solved. The area has so many natural areas and parks to visit, I was able to hike in quite a few of them during my stay.”

“We loved our weekend getaway! Remote location, we enjoyed exploring some nearby trails, looking for wildlife tracks, and wading at the swimming hole. The driving directions were very helpful and while SUV would likely be beneficial on some of the roads, our Subaru Outback did just fine. Accommodations were as described and beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee while watching the sunrise and my toddler play in the living room.”
