“Great experience. The building is quaint, cozy, with a unique design and interior decoration. Beautiful dining area and bar. The room (ground floor), was spacious and with a lovely art deco interior. Very nice shower with good water pressure, nice choice of shower gels and other amenities. The plumbing in the toilet was a bit iffy, but nothing too serious. Very comfortable bed, with soft pillows (this is my preference so I was happy with it). “Staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in the studio apartment, really nice and quiet. Ideal location to the York parkrun and if you like walking, 30 minutes walk to the centre. Definitely recommend 😊”

“An excellent experience. Stayed on a Sunday night and the hotel was fairly quiet so was upgraded to a suite which was fabulous. My daughter is at York University so we have been frequent visitors and generally stay here. It felt therefore like a reward for our frequent visits which made me feel like a valued guest!”

“Really great hotel with so much attention to detail. Record players in the room and a huge selection of records is a really nice touch. The Radio was on when we arrived to our room and the Pantry is generous & a really unique touch. Canadian lady on the Bar was knowledgeable & super friendly (Pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the extensive bar menu was priced). Just really really cool & great location.”
