Rising Sun Holiday Cottage

Questo ex capannone gode di una posizione tranquilla con vista su terreni agricoli aperti e pesca in loco su tre laghi, gratuitamente. Il cottage è ben posizionato per un facile accesso alla splendida città storica di York ed è una base turistica ideale per i mori del Nord York, le Yorkshire Dales, Scarborough, Filey, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Castle Howard, Beningbrough Hall e il Patrimonio Mondiale Sito dell'abbazia di Fountains. Golf disponibile a livello locale e equitazione a York, Thirsk e Ripon. Negozio 31/2 miglia, pub e ristorante 11/2 miglia. Può essere prenotato con la proprietà rif 26131 per ospitare fino a 8 persone.

Great base for walking and close to York

Owners helpful and property well stocked with all you needed. Quite at night and as stated working farm in the day. Would stay again.

Clean and Comfortable

We were visiting Yorkshire and wanted a clean, comfortable, spacious property central to the areas we wanted to visit. This property exceeded our expectations. All on the ground floor, with easy access to parking, and several nearby villages with restaurants and shopping. Alan was a great host.

Perfect weekend break to relax and unwind. Cottage was amazing - we booked the Rising Sun but due to problems with the heating we were offered Haddocks Nook instead. This was our third visit to the cottage and probably won’t be our last. Allan & Carrolyn are lovely and the cottage has everything you need to a very high standard as well. We really enjoyed our short break at the Rising Sun Cottage. It is well equipped and feels like a home from home. Lovely to be in the middle of the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of life. The owners were very friendly and let us just get on with relaxing. The cottage was lovely well equipped and clean plenty of room. A real retreat to come home too after a day of sight seeing. York is a very beautiful place the weather wasn’t the best so you can’t really plan where to go just take each day as it comes.

Second visit, family in area. Gorgeous comfortable cottage in beautiful setting that feels remote but is less than 15 minutes from York, Harrogate, Boroughbridge. Well equipt, spotlessly clean, owners onsite, lovely walking from the door. We will return for further visits in area.
