Risalente al 1840, questo ex ospedale della contea è stato accuratamente convertito per conservare l'atmosfera di un'epoca passata, con i suoi soffitti alti e il grande atrio d'ingresso. Questo appartamento duplex al primo piano offre una base di vacanza molto confortevole con numerose attrazioni di York a due passi. Visita il minster, il Jorvik Viking Museum e il Dungeons, passeggia lungo le mura della città e naviga lungo il fiume. L'ampia varietà di negozi, trattorie, ristoranti e sale da tè tradizionali si rivolge a tutti i gusti. The North Yorkshire Moors, Coast e Dales sono tutti facilmente raggiungibili in auto. Wow, what an ideal location for a week long visit to York.

Wow, what an ideal location for a week long visit to York. This place was ideal for us to just walk around and enjoy the sights thr city has to offer. Cannot rate this place any higher and have told everyone how great it was. Would love to return when we come back to York.

Fab apartment in a great location. Rooms are lovely & clean, got everything you need, like home from home. Owner & her husband very easy to deal with & obtaining the key when we arrived was super easy. Great having a car parking space too, major asset in a city! If I had to pick at one thing, it would just be the noise from the apartment above, TV was very loud each night till gone 11 but can’t blame the owners or the apartment on that, that’s really the luck of the draw as to whose above. Would highly recommend the apartment! We will defo be back Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Wow! We loved our stay at County House.

Wow! We loved our stay at County House. The apartment was extremely clean and well appointed with a view of the Minster from the window. The location is superb; 2 minute walk to Monkbar gate, 1 minute to a large Sainsbury’s and a ten minute drive out of town. The apartment has everything you need over two levels and everything was spotless when we arrived. The owner is really helpful and we would definitely try to stay here again if we go to York again. A lovely quaint place that was clean and tidy and in a great location to the town

Only a few disappointments. The stairs need fixing as creak loudly! The grill doesn’t work very well at all, so we gave up in the end and used the frying pan instead! We had a very antisocial neighbour in the apartment above us who played music loudly from 1am - 7am in the morning didn’t get much sleep at all!😡

Really enjoyed our stay at County House. Very good location for visiting all York has to offer. One slight niggle was the very creaky stairs up to the mezzanine, but I appreciate it would be a lot off work to put right.

We enjoyed a 4 night 1/2 term break with our youngest son in this super property.

We enjoyed a 4 night 1/2 term break with our youngest son in this super property. It is very well situated with everything on your doorstep and parking too, which was a great asset meaning we could happily leave the car in the car park for the duration of our break. The apartment is cosy and homely with ample space for four and a lovely base to return to after a days sightseeing. York itself is lovely, lots to see and lots of lovely places to eat and everything is in walking distance of the property.
