“Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. Overall, thoroughly recommended.”

“The location is really good. Its just a short walk into york. Free parking was a bonus. The room itself was nice but the pictures advertised on Expedia were definitely a false representation of the actual room. I chose the room as it stated it had a four poster bed and a bath with jets. Image my disappointment when i walked in and found a normal bed and a walk in shower with no bath in sight. I spoke with the owner who seemed unaware the rooms details had not been updated. “I have stayed at the Minster Hotel before the rooms are beautiful breakfast plentiful and variety of fresh yogurt grapefuit apple cereals plus a hearty english breakfast cooked to order and staff very accommodating and friendly. The stairs are my only issue and i suggest u try and get a room on a lower level but other than that a fantastic hotel close to all that York has to offer. ”

“Bellissima casa in stile vittoriano, sicuramente non per gli amanti della modernità ma per chi adora calarsi nelle atmosfere vintage. La colazione, tipicamente inglese, nel suo genere è ottima. Il centro città può essere raggiunto facilmente a piedi, ma non manca la fermata del bus nelle vicinanze . Mi mancava solo Miss Marple!”

“Meraviglioso pub in centro a York, a due passi dalla stazione dei treni (10 minuti a piedi!) staff veramente gentilissimo e disponibile, ci hanno tenuto i bagagli in attesa del check in e anche all’uscita. Camere pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Se tornerò a York lo risceglierò (ha anche un garden esterno e il parcheggio!”
