“Great location close to waterfront and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, uncluttered and industrial decor. Bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. There is a bar in the lobby and seems to be a popular place. Food invthe restaurant was very good too. Really enjoyed our stay.”

“Comfortable beds - possible to hear tv from neighbouring rooms. Conversation and kids. Breakfast is very basic self service with (plastic bowls, pates and cups). Food in the hotel on an evening is ok. Would recommend going into Halifax - by taxi. Otherwise it’s a considerable walk”

“I recently stayed at The Hollis for 3 nights in Halifax. The check-in was swift and was even welcomed with a warm baked chocolate chip cookie which was a great way to settle in. Reception staff were very pleasant. We were provided a beautiful suite with a waterfront view to the Halifax harbour and enjoyed this view.
