“It was perfect for us. We had a baseball tournament near by. They have a complimentary limo driver. We took the kids to ice cream in the limo. The breakfast was good. No complaints about anything.”

“We had a 2 night stay and were not informed at check in the room wouldn't be made up daily. We can appreciate re-using towels but for the price they should have made the bed, taken out the trash, restocked our coffee, and replaced the disposable coffee cups. I had to make 3 trips to the lobby to get Coffee and cups.”

“Our first day we came back in the evening and our room was not cleaned including no clean towels. The owner was on the premises the next morning. We requested an adjustment to our bill for the lack of service. He refused and said we should have called it to his attention during working hours the prior day so they could come in and clean. We told him we were out all day. He was neither apologetic nor responsive to our request for a credit.”

“Floor dirty socks were black, tv not user friendly, very noisy, breakfast too simple for the senior price charged.Staff was excellent.”

“Outdated and unkept. Shower handle was broken and we were told it was just temperamental - took 5+ minutes to jiggle it around to get it to a temp that was not freezing or burning your skin. Slider had big tear in it so could not leave open overnight. Overall, it was fine but for the premium they charge in the summer, there is no reason they can’t keep up on these basic things. Staff was nice. Check in was easy and there is parking right on site.”

“The Charlevoix House was a wonderful bed and breakfast in the charming town of Charlevoix. Steffan was a wonderful and attentive host that was kind, present, and made amazing home cooked breakfast! Everything was done with care and intentionality. We would 100% love to come again soon!!!”

“The lady at front desk (Jackie?) was very nice, fun and helped us in many ways. It’s an old building and that’s a part of experience. The only disappointment was the jet tab in our room. Probably not used much though looked clean, the hot water was brownish and a bit challenging to use it. Still we enjoyed our stay :)”

“The Earl is as good as you can do in Charlevoix. Rooms are clean and staff is nice. There is zero insulation between rooms - so at crowded times of year it can be very noisy.”

“I remember what this property looked like before the remodel. It's a completely different property now. It's clean, rooms are comfortable and staff is extremely courteous. I will be staying here again.”
