  • Welcome to The Mercantile, a beautifully restored 1,800-square-foot, three-bedroom historic home that once served as Yucca’s original mercantile and post office. Dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s, this landmark captures the rustic spirit of Arizona’s railroad heritage—once a watering stop for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe line—while offering all the modern comforts of home. Step through the doors and into history. The Mercantile features warm, inviting spaces with a blend of vintage charm and contemporary updates. Enjoy peaceful Mesa views and unobstructed western sunsets from the covered front porch—perfect for evening relaxation or morning coffee.

Beautiful historic property! Our favorite vacation stay to date. Host communicated quickly. Highly recommended. There is an active train track across the street - our kids LOVED it (you’d think we don’t live by a train track). Perfect place! If you chase the sun like me, the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking.

The pictures online looked lovely, but didn't prepare us for the size of the place. It's 3 full bedrooms, each with its own TV, plus a large TV in the ample living room. It's got everything you could ever need at your fingertips, and the AC worked great. There are pictures on the wall of the original Mercantile and you can tell it's the same building. The owner has thought of absolutely every detail. We stayed in Yucca to ride our ATV in the Hualapi Mtns. but it turned out to be just too hot. Instead we saw some sights in Kingman..@ 25 minutes from Yucca, and spent some time in Lake Havasu..@ 40 minutes away. Restaurants in Yucca are iffy..they may or may not be open. But you can get decent food at the gas stations. There's a Pride and a Flying J..which has Cinnabon! The neighborhood where the house is looked a little sketchy, but we left our rig outside for 3 full days and nothing was taken. I highly recommend this place.
