The beach is across the street. The city center, dunes are around the corner. Enough places to have breakfast, coffee or dinner in the immediate vicinity.
Zandvoort is a flourishing seaside resort with a great touristic appeal. It has a wide and clean beach where you can enjoy a swim or just relax. Zandvoort is located in the middle of the dunes. The beauty of this stretched-out dune area is unprecedented. Haarlem is within cycling distance from Zandvoort and Amsterdam can be reached by train within 25 minutes. In Zandvoort, you can do activities, such as golf surfing, kite surfing, horse riding, cycling, golfing, hiking, sailing, racing and shopping.

Zandvoort train station is at walking distance, direct connections with Amsterdam, Haarlem and Schiphol Airport.

Happy Hippy

Toen wij aankwamen was er 1 bed niet gedekt. De medewerker was er wel vlug, maar die zei dat de 'chalet' maar verhuurd mag worden aan 2 personen en wij hadden wel voor 3 volwassenen geboekt. Waarom hier geen reactie?Volgende verrassing kwam er toen we wilden gaan eten. Er waren geen tafel en stoelen in de accommodatie. Er zat dus niets anders op dan de tafel van in de tuin onder het afdak van het terras te zetten. Eén geluk hadden we dat het weer tijdens deze week zeer goed was. Voor de koelkast moesten we ook telkens de binnenkoer oversteken, want deze stond in het tuinhuis aan de andere kant. Niet praktisch.Ook de magnetronoven deed het niet. er is wel een mekanieker gekomen en die heeft vastgesteld dat hij inderdaad stuk was. Er werd ons een andere beloofd, maar daar zitten we nog op te wachten.Er waren geen kleerkasten en legkasten voor onze kleren aanwezig. Alles moest dus in de valiezen in het salon blijven liggen, want in de 'grote' slaapkamer was er alleen plaats om op je zij in bed te kruipen. De zogenaamde 2de slaapkamer was meer een stapelruimte dan slaapplaats.
