Stopped here for the night to see family. Check in was ok. Woman behind the counter was pleasant and helpful. I was given room #114. I grabbed all my stuff from the car and settled in my room before heading to dinner. I had the tv on for a brief period of time but couldn’t hear what was being said as I could hear the tv from the room next door (#116) loudly and clearly. I had received a text from the hotel telling me that if I needed anything to text them back. So I sent a text stating that the person next to me had their tv up so loud that I could tell them word for word what was being said and that I was going out to dinner in an hour and when I came back if it was still loud I would need to have my room changed. After lying there for 10 minutes I decided to go to the front desk and request a room change. I walked up there and asked the same woman that had checked me in if I could have a new room as the person next to me had the tv up so loud (my text had never been answered). She responded “oh yeah, every time she’s here we get noise complaints”. My immediate thought was “why did you put her where she would have someone in a room next to her” but I didn’t say a word. She gave me a new room next to a woman w a beagle and thankfully the rest of the night was nice and quiet. Both rooms were clean, beds comfortable w plenty of pillows. Breakfast was ok, waffle machine broken so I had cereal and an apple.
