A due passi dalla spiaggia, i bungalow offrono tutto il necessario per un soggiorno all’insegna del comfort e della tranquillità. La nostra camera si affacciava proprio sulla spiaggia potendo così godere di una vista meravigliosa a tutte le ore del giorno. Personale attento, cordiale e sempre disponibile. Cucina della struttura ottima e a buon prezzo. Colazione ricca e variegata, non mancano mai frutta fresca e succhi appena spremuti (ogni mattina un gusto differente tra l’altro). Tutto perfetto, bravissimi ragazzi! Hakuna Matata 😃

Nel periodo in cui sono stato , a Giugno si ultimavano gli ultimi miglioramenti nella struttura , le camere sono molto confortevoli, fresche e con vista sull'oceano

Grazioso albergo proprio sulla spiaggia molto pulito con A/R nuova, ventole a soffitto veranda letto il comodissimi. Il personale è gentilissimo e molto pulito. Il manager Ali è molto efficiente e disponibile, qualsiasi problema Ali lo risolve Voto 10

personale gentilissimo e buona posizione. Abbiamo scelto la camera vista mare ma anche le altre sono buone...ottimo il ristorante e con prezzi onesti. Ci siamo trovate veramente bene in questo hotel!

Vista mare
L'albergo è molto carino, noi abbiamo scelto una camera vista mare assolutamente fantastica con una grande vetrata dalla quale potevamo vedere sorgere l'alba e guardare sempre l'oceano. La stanza era grande e soprattutto il letto molto confortevole con aria condizionata, anche il bagno spazioso e con phon. Il personale è gentilissimo soprattutto la manager fantastica e sempre disponibile per ogni tipo di richiesta. Sono stati tutti carini e simpatici. La colazione era deliziosa con frutta fresca e succhi fatti sul momento.

All perfect
We had a great time at this place. Unfortunatelly my husband had an accident and we had to return earlier that was planned but we received all the support and help from the whole staff at the hotel. We are going to take this place in heart hoping to come back and enjoy again. Perfect food! Great staff and confy rooms!!

Ci aspettavamo di meglio
Accoglienza ok, personale simpatico e molto accogliente. Fino a qui tutto ok ... Colazione, sicuramente da migliorare, non a buffet e la varietá di scelta, davvero ridotta! Principalmente nei giorni di pioggia, elettricitá e acqua possono mancare per un bel pó di tempo!! Posto meraviglioso, ma se conciliassero la bellezza alla qualità, sarebbe perfetto! nessuno dei bungalow dispone di aria condizionata, ma tocca "rinfrescarsi" con un misero venrilatore. È vero che siamo in Africa, ma molti altri villaggi hanno decisamente molti piu comfort. Da rivedere davvero molti punti.

The hotel staff was superior. After having a terrible time finding the place in the evening, tired from a long day we got here and our room was not what we thought we were getting nor was it ready. Weird as they knew we were coming but did Not seem ready for us. After ordering diner we ate, felt better and finally got a proper room. Hard evening. However next day was perfect. From morning breakfast we went for a walk on the beach, swam in the pool! Breakfast was perfect and really good. Good in general is superior. The owner really took special care of us and we even got super late check out! A wonderful ending to our trip. I would come again and stay longer. Felt so at home it was embarrassing. Thought we were taking too much space! Very grateful for my Tanzanian brothers taking such good care of my family and o. Plus points: daughter and wife loved it! Very relaxing! Will come again

So firstly let me tell you , our original hotel cancelled on us last minute and I’m the type of girl who researches everything so I was in a bit of a panic but chose Jambiani white sands bungalows! What an amazing little boutique hotel! I was not disappointed from the moment of arrival we were made to feel very welcome. If your looking for a five star all inclusive then this is not your place. Instead this is a small hotel directly on the beach where you can really experience Zanzibar with the locals with amazing staff and service. Our room was upgraded to a beach view and waking up every morning to the view of the beach and ocean was spectacular. Room was comfortable, with a very comfy bed and shower room and balcony. The room also had a fan and AC which was much needed at night! The staff in particular Aziza and the chef Jacob are absolutely amazing who made sure we had all we needed, cooking us some amazing meals and also some meals that were not on the menu which we asked for! These two really made our holiday amazing and this is one of the reasons I would come back and I wouldn’t usually go to a destination twice! The beach what can I say about the beach it’s absolutely stunning with the tide coming in and out a few times a day and sometimes it’s so shallow you can walk waist deep for miles. There is lots of sellers on the beach and massage ladies and also boat boys who will offer you a sail for a really good price and even snorkel or swim.

Unsere Reise begann leider mit einer Flugverspätung, sodass wir die Befürchtung hatten, nachts nicht mehr einchecken zu können. Allerdings wurde an der Rezeption auf uns gewartet, worüber wir uns sehr freuten. Die Zimmer sind mit den nötigsten Dingen ausgestattet. Die Möbel könnten ein Update gebrauchen und es fehlte ein zweiter Stuhl und ein Tisch auf dem Balkon. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage direkt am Strand, war wirklich sehr schön war. Wer noch besonders hervorzuheben ist, ist Adam - er erfüllte uns unsere Wünsche beim Frühstück und war immer sehr hilfsbereit. Leider wurden meiner Freundin 200 Euro geklaut. Wir wollen niemanden direkt beschuldigen, aber ein Safe im Zimmer könnte sowas verhindern.

Notre séjour a été super. Jambiani est magnifique le personnel de l’hôtel est adorable et à répondu à toutes nos demandes. La chambre est très belle ( nous avions un bungalow vu plage ) le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon il y a du choix. N’ayant pas loué de voiture sur place l’hôtel nous a trouvé des taxis à chaque fois ( qui sont d’ailleurs très ponctuels ) je recommande vivement !

Perfect place to relax
Once you reach there, no complaint. The beach is amazingly beautiful. Owner Ali is wonderful gentle guy. His recommendation on restaurants was perfect match to our demand. Flexible service for lunch box arrangement for excursion was also helpful as we could have it on the way to the destination. Jambiani is a bit far from any tourist place, but to spend time relaxed, it is a perfect choice. No beer nor wine was available there, which you need to know.

Hotel am Strand
Es ist ein Hotel am Strand. Die Zimmer sind lediglich mit Bett und Beistelltisch möbeliert. Kasten oder einen Stuhl gibt es nicht. Zudem ist das Frühstück eintönig und man bekommt jeden Tag das selbe vorgesetzt. Es gibt keine Auswahl an Kaffe, Tee, Marmeladen, Obst oder Säften. Von allem gibt es eine Sorte und dies jeden Tag! Zudem ist eine Riesenbaustelle unmittelbar in und neben der Anlage. Wir hatten das „Fliesenlager“ genau unter unserem Fenster und wurden morgens um 7 durch Baustellengeräusche geweckt. Der Hotelmanager spricht kein Englisch und holt Kellner zum Übersetzen hinzu. Außerdem kann man zusehen, wie er am Strand Kinder misshandelt. Das restliche Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sauber, lediglich eine Kakarlake.

De los peores de Jambiani
Hotel a pie de playa, muy bien situado, pero esta es la única ventaja que tiene. Está muy bien si piensas estar todo el día en la playa. Las habitaciones son limpias y nuevas pero ridiculamente pequeñas y apenas cabe la cama, ni armario, ni sillas ni perchas... En el restaurante no se sirve alcohol y tampoco te dejan traerlo de fuera, es el único hotel en toda la playa con ese "inconveniente", al menos deberían especificarlo en su página web Creo que hay mejores opciones en Jambiani por ese precio.

Susto no início mas tudo resolvido ao final.
Fiz a reserva e paguei integralmente em dezembro as 3 noites que ficaríamos. No entanto, quando chegamos o hotel estava fechado para obras. No início bateu desespero. Conversamos com o dono e ele em 5 minutos nos colocou no hotel ao lado (mto semelhante ao white sand) num quarto com vista para o mar e pagou por nossas 3 noites. Portanto, ao final, deu tudo certo. O hotel q ficamos era o uhuru. Pessoal mto atencioso. Vale a pena.

Helt underbar strand precis utanför vår bungalow. Jättetrevlig personal och ägare. Nära till byn som erbjuder små butiker med lite shopping, samt nära till andra restauranger och barer. I princip folktomma stränder vilket vi gillar. Ingen tv på rummet, men vem behöver det när man har världens finaste strand som utsikt. :) Saknade en AC på rummet och strömmen går lite då och då på Zanzibar. Men det är inget man egentligen bryr sig om när man befinner sig i paradiset. Kommer tillbaka! //Patrik & Therese

Meget simpelt men rent hotel der ligger et fantastisk sted! Du bor PÅ stranden og har aldrig langt til noget, dog er der ikke meget og se og du opholder dig kun tæt på stranden. Morgenmad er inklusiv dog er maden ikke den bedste. Personalet er meget flinke og spørger dig hele tiden om de kan hjælpe, de hjælper dig også ved de mindste spørgsmål. God service.

You just need to check on arrival at the airport or check with many other agents. Our help desk can also assist as we are not providing the tour service, but they will assist for information. As for the breakfast, We will appreciate any suggestion or recommendation so that we can improve better. the translation of the comment: "Very simple but clean hotel that is in a great location! You live on the beach and never have far to anything but there is not much to see and you are staying only close to the beach. Breakfast is inclusive though, the food is not the best. The staff are very good and ask you all the time if they can help, they also help you with the smallest questions. Good service."

Amazing location
Amazing beach bungalows with great service. Restaurant serves delicious food (bare in mind a long wait). Staff is friendly and attentive. Located in quiet area where you will have a chance to meet local villagers, play football with kids and see seaweed farms. Unique experience, this place is for you if you want to stay away from expensive all look alike resorts. You can visit the village, eat great food, chat with villagers, don’t worry they are nice and won’t hassle you.

Wir waren für 11 Tage im Jambiani White Sand. Es war super. Die Zimmer wurden jeden gereinigt. Das Frühstück war gut. Es gab immer frisches Obst. Man könnte zwischen vers. Eierspeisen wählen. Toast, Butter, Marmelade und immer noch etwas süßes wie z. B. Waffeln. Das ganze Personal war super freundlich. Ich würde die Anlage ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen.

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage, Essen super toll, Preise normal, alles sauber, wir waren im Winter dort es war von den Temperaturen sehr angenehm, und es waren wenig Leute dort! Wir sind im Glauben hingefahren, dass es dort außer einem Fahrradverleih nichts gibt. Tatsächlich haben wir jeden zweiten Tag unbeschreiblich tolle Touren unternommen ( Spicetour, Stone Town, Prision Island, usw.)

Vi bokade Jambiani White Beach baserat på flertalet positiva rekommendationer, priset och bilderna på stranden. Tyvärr blev vi rejält besvikna och checkade ut flera dagar i förväg. Skicket på boendet är lågt, ingen AC, lukt av mögel, knappt något vatten i duschen, luktade avlopp om vattnet, gamla fläckar på lakanen och handdukarna, otrevlig belysning. Detta boende passar möjligen backpackers med stram budget i yngre ålder, övriga bör söka sig till högre standard. Jambiani som helhet är en liten by med vacker strand och sagolikt vatten. Tidvattnet gör dock att man ibland får gå ut ett par hundra meter för att bada. Flertalet besökare verkade vara där för kite-surfing. Utöver strandlivet så erbjuds inte mycket mer, varken affärer eller ATM finns i närheten. Efter ett par dagar på strand och middagar på bungalow-hotellen så fick man nog (begränsat utbud). Rekommenderar svenska resenärer att titta på andra alternativ då boendet på Zanzibar präglar hela upplevelsen.

Get Away From It All
We came here directly from a strenuous climb of Kilimanjaro. It was a great place to relax and unwind. If you are looking for a lot of night life and activity, though, you probably want to go further north. The beach is nice and sandy here and the water is a beautiful turquoise color but it's hard to swim in the ocean here except at high tide. At low tide, the water is out a really long ways. The hotel is a series of thatched roof bungalows right on the beach and backs up to the little dirt-road village of Jambiani. Our king-sized bed basically took up the whole room. We had to pull our patio table inside so we would have a space to lay our belongings but that worked just fine. The staff was very welcoming. The cook was very good. Very nice breakfast each morning in the open-air restaurant onsite. The restaurant seemed to be a little nicer than many of the others along the beach (with slightly higher prices too but the food was good). Another plus - the hotel was able to hook us up with a reliable, affordable taxi driver who was very accommodating and spoke good English.

Nice beach, disappointing hotel
Check in took over an hour with almost no communication from the staff, even though it was at 6pm. The room still had used soap and garbage from the previous occupants. The beach, however, was wonderful.

Wonderful stay at White Sands Bungalows! The GM (called Said) was wonderful-- he personally greeted us and ensured our stay was great multiple times. Laila and the other girls on staff were also great. This location is RIGHT on the beach and even if you get a garden room as we did, we were still only steps away and actually preferred the bit of extra privacy. Great snorkeling, relaxing on the beach and a great local scene on the beach at nights as well -- the kids come out and play pickup soccer and other games in the evening which is entertainment in its own right! Finally, the food was a highlight...for most of the meals. They seem to rotate through perhaps three chefs on different shifts and the same menu items come out quite differently depending on whose cooking. The vast majority were great but a few dishes that were subpar. Bear in mind that there is no alcohol at this location (quite common on the island since it is majority Muslim) but there are locations that serve just a short walk down the beach. Overall we were very very happy and would definitely return!
