Bella posizione sul mare. Camera piccola, ma confortevole, staff gentile. Colazione misera e trascurata. Per lo stesso prezzo o anche a meno si trovano sistemazioni migliori. Mi aspettavo di più.

La piscina era molto carina anche se con pochi lettini disponibili, causa spazio. La posizione vicino a gran parte dei luoghi da visitare: mercato di street food, palazzo delle meraviglie, forte, vicoli...

If you have the choice DO NOT waste your money on this property. Rooms are claustrophobic, no proper ventilation, washroom is a senior nightmare with all the steps, stray cats peeing on the restaurant floor. They have the ocean front and another hotel behind and if you don’t know the difference and you book for the other it is at the back, in a hot room with no elevators (they made my senior parents climb 2 flights of stairs) until their changed out room…then made us wait until 9pm after travelling to get a room with the staff attitude. The wifi hardly works. To add to it the restaurant when you order a meal gives you the option to pay in US or local currency. They change more for the conversion than the live exchange!! It is an antique looking building but that isn’t an excuse for the dirt. Their mosquito nets have the same dead bugs on the top for days. Additionally there is zero sound proofing. Waste of money! We couldn’t not get out of there fast enough!!!

Staying at Tembo palace was amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was nice every morning.

We had an appartment next to the main building, it was enormous, with great bathroom. Great value for money, right on the beach, next to the top class hotels. Tasteful breakfast, for all likes.

Convenient stay in Stone Town
Very convenient location to stay while in Stone Town. Great "old" vibe by the beach. Breakfast buffet really poor though.

Good place to stay while in stone town
A nice place to stay with the family, close to stone town, feels secure, good breakfast. As most hotels in stone town, a bit “dated” but it is very clean and overall nice.

Tetszett: A szálloda kitűnő helyen, Stone Town központjában található. 1 percre van a tengerpart és szintén 1 percre a Freddie Mercury ház. Mindennap takarítanak, áthúzzák az ágyneműt. Az étteremben viszonylag kicsi a választék, de ìzletes és nagy adagokat szolgálnak fel. Bőséges és változatos reggelit kaptunk, az étterem kilátása csodás, óceánra néző. A medencék tiszták, a tetőtériről különösen szép a kilátás. Nem tetszett: ugyanazzal a koszos vízzel mossák fel az egész emeletet. Nem volt semmilyen extra fertőtlenítés.

The accommodation was not as described. I stead of the advertised property we were obliged to stay in a nearby building with NO POOL and NO RESTAURANT Furthermore my complaint to the hotel has not been responded to

Helt ok hotell för en natt om man ska vidare på ön. Det är lite slitet och skulle behöva en uppfräschning men rummen är rena och bekväma. Om man känner för en öl eller vin i baren så är det bara att glömma då detta är ett alkoholfritt hotell. Kan vara bra att veta.
