Consigliatissimo!
Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Chalet pulito, molto grazioso e tranquillo, letto comodo. Colazione molto buona. Super consigliato!

We had an incredible experience staying at Hotel Romatica. Thor, the host, was waiting to pick us up from the train station, and we were shown nothing but the absolute best hospitality from the second we arrived to the second we left. The hotel was incredible cute and impeccably clean, and we felt right at home. We were truly treated like family and we could not have asked for a better experience.

An amazing stay!
Our time in Zermatt was so special because of Hotel Romantica! The hotel is in the perfect location and a stay here is like staying with your new Swiss friends! The entire staff was so welcoming and available to help/answer questions at a moment’s notice. The rooms and breakfast were also a delight! This was our third trip to Zermatt and our favorite because of this hotel.

It’s in a perfect location. Walkable to a ton of restaurants but off the main drag so you have some quiet. Walkable to the train station and ski lifts. Beautiful Mountain views from the rooms!

The host and hostess were great, they gave us plenty of ideas for walks and restaurants. One early morning the hostess said, walk up the path for two minutes so you can get a picture, the Matterhorn was glowing red from the sunrise. Got a beautiful pic. We stayed two nights in the old goat barn that was converted into a room. It was very nice… maybe a lil small if you were staying for a week. I didn’t see the other rooms, but others I talked too said they were nice. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. The best thing I can say is, they cared about your stay and wanted to make it great.

Very cute hotel that is near the train station and the lifts. About a 10 minute walk from the train station , and 15 minute walk to the Glacier paradise lift (to see the Matterhorn). Hotel was clean, staff was very helpful, and central location to everything you need. Would stay here again!

We have been traveling for three weeks. This is absolutely the best place we have stayed so far. It is charming, cozy, and the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. As I sat in our suite, I thought I would love to spend Christmas here. It's just that comfortable. I highly recommend it to single or others traveling.

The owners, Thor and Michelle, were fabulous! Very friendly, thoughtful, and went overboard to service their customers. The hotel was conveniently located, but just off the main through fare so it was quiet. Exceptionally clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend that anyone visiting Zermatt consider this hotel!

One of my favourite hotels ever. Such friendly and helpful people and great location. The little wooden hut is straight from a fairy tale. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic stay the staff are so friendly as the make the stay very personal like you are staying with friends, they know where you a from even the language you speak. Room is exactly as described.

This place is fantastic! The owners and the staff are very welcoming and nice. The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Whenever coming back to Zermatt this will be the place I will want to stay again and again.

The stay in Hotel Romantica was excellent. The hospitality is the warmest. At the beginning of the stay, the hotel host Thor took us from the train station to the hotel via the hotel car. During our stay in the hotel, Thor and the team provided us a lot of information and recommendations about our trip in Zermatt and we had a very great time here. The hotel room was great with a very nice view. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great. We had very good rest in Zermatt so as to make the best use of our precious time here. The hotel team, especially Thor, is very talkative, polite and has a great sense of humor. One thing I would like to mention regarding how the team helped us during our stay. My suitcase was broken during the train transportation to Zermatt. Despite some search in Zermatt, we still not able to get a new one. Thor helped us to search around Zermatt and provided us suggestions on getting a new one and the way to get rid of my broken suitcase. Although we eventually decided to get a new one in another place in Switzerland, the team’s enthusiasm in helping people is touching. Oh yeah, the dog and cat in the hotel are also very cute. We had good time petting them during our stay. I would strongly recommend Hotel Romantica for anyone who plans to stay in Zermatt.

Perfect stay
The location of the apartment is great, very quiet and close to everything. Bus stop is 5 minutes away and metro 10 minutes away. What I really loked is the cleanliness of the apartment as well as all the features. The welcome was absolutely wonderful, you just have to collect the keys in another building, but everything is well explained. Friendly staff, great location and cleanliness makes it the perfect spot to stay.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Everything was perfect in the hotel: the location, the rooms, the view, the decoration, the staff, the recommendations for skiing, the breakfasts, the transportation. Near everything. It is a fact that we will return. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough about how wonderful my stay was at this gem of a Swiss Alpine style Zermatt hotel. Location was unbeatable, right in the centre of town, but just off of the main street to filter out the noise from the late night crowd, and an easy less than 5 minute walk to the Gornergrat station for the first ski lift up the mountain in the morning. Proprietors Michelle and Thor are extremely kind and exemplary hosts, with endless knowledge and insights on Zermatt and the area freely given. They really went the extra mile(s) for me to be sure I was comfortable, my questions answered and my experience positive. Breakfast is excellent, décor in common areas and rooms charming, tasteful and of high quality, everything impeccably clean. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Look no further if you want a true Swiss Alps experience in Zermatt. My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer! I will be back!

Amazing and friendly staff, perfect location (literally in the middle of downtown), super safe, and not to mention a great price for the area! I stayed here for two weeks and would come back again! I highly recommend this hotel.
