“This was our visit to the area, and this place was great! Comfortable sleeping spaces with plenty of room. (We were 4, but the place could easily sleep 6). Wildwood (just down the road) was a beautiful oasis and the proximity to other hiking/fishing/recreation was outstanding. The hosts were excellent communicators and clearly care about helping guests have a good experience. ”

“Amazing location! The ONLY warning… bring your own pillow and coffee filters. The pillows were rough and there are no coffee filters. Everything else was fantastic!!”

“Overall very clean. Cobwebs on the lamp. The small bed is very uncomfortable. A soft topper would take care of that problem. Master bed is awesome!! Great stove and refrigerator! Nice view from the master and dining room. Looks just like the photos. There’s a great walking pathway at the river. Go left. Had a super nice time there!”

The location was great for everything from short walks in the surrounding forest and eating in the nearby restaurant, to exploring further on and around Mount Hood. “Had a wonderful girl’s vacation at this beautiful home and met our needs very well. It’s location close to Hood, trails, and other fun activities was perfect and secluded enough to not get a bunch of traffic. The cottage had so much for its size (especially the coffee options) including super comfy beds and towels. This stay was such a great part of our vacation. ”

“Our stay in government camp was great at this cabin! Very close to mount hood hikes and activities as well as only an hourish drive from portland! Blane was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was well kept and perfect for the 2 of us staying. The bed was exceptionally comfy. Also, the surrounding town is very cute with several options of places to eat and a general store that had everything you could need!”

“Great location, beautiful river view. Large deck with hot tub, pool in the neighborhood. Kitchen well stocked, large dining space. This is our third year staying here. Kids had a blast! Chris is responsive when I reached out to him. ”

“Lots of traffic on the road. Was pretty Quiet despite the traffic. Hot tub was nice. Didn't even use any of the upstairs, even tho the bathroom was nicer than the downstairs bathroom. All in all, it was a nice time.”

“Our small family of 3 stayed here as a landing spot for a few days skiing at Mt. Hood. We really enjoyed the cabin - it is a simple cabin but was clean and tastefully decorated/maintained. Beds and supplies were fine - as expected for a rental that has regular visitors. Extra blankets were great as it was cold at night (and we don't like to sleep with the heat going). We cooked breakfasts and dinners to our liking and streamed movies in the evening from our Apple devices. We really enjoyed...

“The house was amazing for our family of five and the game room and hot tub were a huge hit. We had plenty of room for all of us, the kitchen is well stocked, and we loved the decor and small touches (including a great selection of games/puzzles). The host is incredibly responsive and gave us suggestions in advance for things to do. We only wished we stayed another night so that we could check out the pool. Would definitely come back and stay again.”
