“As a family of 3 who are native to the area, have high expectations, and love San Diego culture and the ability to stay fit—— this place made us so happy !!! The location is everything with a walking trail/ lake nearby and a park!!! The gym was small but do able if you know a thing a or two. I was so impressed with the breakfast and LOVED the bed. The two bedrooms and kitchen were sensational and more than we expected.”

“There was a BLOOD!!! smeare on one of the doorframe to one of the bedrooms, there was hair in one of the bathtubs and one of the rolls of toilet paper was moldy. I told the front desk about it and the employee came to the room to wipe away the blood and sincerely apologized for it. He also let me know that they were fully booked and had no other rooms. We did a thorough search throughout the suite and that was the only visible blood stain we found, so we decided to stay since it we got in too...

“What a great room for the family! The grounds are pretty with unique plants. There’s no pool but it’s one street to the beach. The hotel has sand buckets and folding chairs to use. On Wed evenings there’s a street market two blocks away. Great restaurants everywhere. I loved the clean, fresh-smelling pillows and sheets.”
