hotel molto pulito, situato in una posizione comoda per visitare musei e chiese di grande interesse artistico, camere molto pulite e curate, personale molto disponibile e cordiale, possibilità di deposito bagagli molto utile. Buon rapporto posizione,qualità,prezzo.L'hotel non ha però una grande vista affacciandosi su una stradina e non è stato possibile accedere alla terrazza panoramica perchè chiusa.L'hotel resta a mio giudizio una buona scelta per visitare Venezia con comodità e praticità

“Do NOT stay at this hotel”

The hotel room was too small for what I paid even though I have lived in all kinds of hotels during my travels. This is certainly a one star hotel at best. The carpets were dirty and the A.C was blowing hot air even though I set it off. The breakfast was really basic. I was checking my email in the reception area since there is no internet in the rooms. But just after midnight, the desk personnel closed all the lights in the reception area and asked me to go back to my room in a very rude manner. I calmly told him that first of all it was misleading that their website should say that there was complimentary internet connection and then second I am being asked to go to my room which means it is not even a 24 hour internet connection even in the reception area. He started to yell at me and told me "go speak to the owner" and that it was "not his problem" and that he "just works here". He would not tell me his title or name when I asked him about it. And mid-conversation he walked away to the back of the office and refused to come out and address my issue and yelled "I am closed" from the back. This was atrocious and childish behavior from someone who is customer facing. I have never encountered such blatant rudeness from an hotel employee who is supposed to be taking care of the hotel residents. I wrote the hotel owner an email about their staff and they emailed back an apology, however I feel this hotel has a long way to go in other respects.

“Great area but note the caveats”

Unlike much of Venice, Dorsoduro area is great for sensibly-priced & v tasty food (4-5 good places on the doorstep) and late night drinks (it's home to lots of local students and has only 1-2 obvious attractions, thus it keeps most of the hordes of tourists away), while still being within easy walking distance of everything. We stayed at the 'suite' altho this is more of a simple family-room than anything fancy. It's a great price in an expensive city, altho a bit tricky to find from the hotel (it's a +5min walk from the main hotel, down various lanes) and thus also isolated from hotel services. We knew this when we booked, so no complaints - just make sure you know what you're in for, too

“Awful rude staff”

The internet in the lobby did not work at all and the desk clerk said that he had no way to repair the wifi. the hotel therefore had no internet service at all. We were put into rooms that were about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, but this was a tough slog with our luggage. Then, when we wanted to check out and catch the water taxi close to the rooms we had, the hotel clerk rudely insisted that we MUST take all our luggage back to the hotel, and then turn the keys in there, rather than letting us simply lock our keys in our rooms, where they could be retrieved by the hotel maids when they came to clean. The hotel clerk was adamant about this, which was ridiculous and was a huge inconvenience for us. We had prepaid the full cost of the rooms beforehand, had been ideal guests, and did not deserve to be treated this way. I would NEVER return to this hotel, and would NEVER recommend it.

“Venice 2010”

The only problem we found was that the room in the hotel was on the second floor and there is no lift fitted at the hotel. We should have checked this before we made the booking. However the hotel is in a perfect location with great restaurants within easy walking distance. All the sites you want to see are easily reachable by either walking or the water bus. Venice is a magical city particularly at night.

“Sweet little hotel”

My single room at Hotel Pantalon was quite small (as was the bathroom), but while in Venice I didn't plan to or did spend much time there as I tourded the city. It is located about a 10-15 minute walk from the terminal station which was quite convenient and about a 15 minute walking through winding streets to the Rialto. There was also a vapreto stop less than 5 minutes from the hotel. The neighborhood was active, but less with tourists and more with locals. There were plenty of different places to eat and drink and the hotel staff were quite helpful and friendly about recommending the local restaurants and shops. My shared balcony was above the pedestrian street which was quite noisy as sound reflected off the hards walls and pavement. But once the double paned windows were closed at night it was quite pleasant. There is a small rooftop terrace you can spend an evening listening to the church bells and watch the city light up at night. The water didn't get much above lukewarm, but with the heat of the city in summer the cooler shower was quite refreshing. I'd go back anytime.

“La "suite" est un petit studio plutot sympathique”

Hotel bien situé. Proche du grand canal, zone pas trop touristique (plus typique que le quartier de la gare). Accueil agréable. Chambres simples dans l'hotel. Suites (c'était notre cas) sont des petits appartements à quelques minutes de l'hotel. Logement calme, propre, agréable. Resto à 50m, vaporetto à 200 m, rue très typique.

Il ne s'agit pas de l'hôtel (vaporetto San Toma) mais d'une grande chambre avec cuisinette située à 10 minute de l'hôtel. Pas de service hôtelier après l'accès à la chambre. Bien situé à côté d'un petit canal à quelques minutes du vaporetto Ca Rezzonico

“Gute Lage!”

Das Hotel ist von der Piazzale Roma sehr gut zu erreichen. Die attraktiven Plätze in Venedig kann man ohne viel Mühe gut erreichen. Das Zimmer war angemessen, da man ja dort doch nur seine Klamotten abstellt und übernachtet. Klimaanlage ist vorhanden. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt. Das Frühstück war okay, man darf hier jedoch keine große Auswahl erwarten.
