“Great friendly comfortable!”

“My initial thought was that a motel was not likely to be a great property. Wrong! The Anchorage Motelmis in a perfect location - 5 minute walk to shuttle service for Acadia National Park and easy access to many great restaurants. We were in the new building and the room had everything we needed including a microwave. Also, two very comfortable chairs, nightstands on both sides of the beds, shower with lots of pressure,etc. Staff was excellent - both Susie and Natalie had excellent suggestions...

The rooms, while not huge, are very comfortable and well-kept. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. You can get to Acadia NP on a short drive and it's not far from Bar Harbor Downtown, making it pleasantly quiet without sacrificing its location. A perfect spot for a peaceful getaway—highly recommend! ”
