“The central location made getting to any sections of the park on MDI a breeze. Being set back into the woods while also close enough to walk to a playground and a few other little amenities was a nice bonus for our young family! Add in the well-equipped kitchen and overall cozy property and I can't imagine a better place to stay for our daughters' first National Park experience!”

We were not expecting the 90 degree weather, but the two boxes fans and overhead fans in each room made it tolerable. My kids are teenagers and were comfortable leaving the windows open at night, but for parents of little ones, be aware that you will be sleeping on a different level than the kids if you are choosing to leave windows open at night to cool off the...

“Property was well maintained and check out, with no requirements, was amazing. We had yurt 8 which while the most convenient is right by the road. Luckily it’s not too busy but would have preferred to not hear cars driving by. Common space with a camp fire and games was great. A little far for groceries but otherwise a pretty central location for Bar Harbor and Acadia. ”

“We were looking for something close to Acadia but quiet and away from the crowds and this spot was absolutely perfect! We ended up spending most of the trip just enjoying the house and ocean right out the backdoor as it was everything we had hoped for. ”

“This place has a fantastic view! There is a huge yard right on the water with relaxing chairs. The patio has a picnic table and a great grill. The owners lived next door and had chickens and gave us a dozen really fresh eggs. The inside was clean and comfortable. New appliances and whatever you could possibly need. There were kayaking boats, oars and vests that the 19!year olds used. It was so much fun!”

“Great location on MDI. Easy to get to EVERYTHING and very little traffic. If you are looking for low key, cleanliness and a welcoming deer everyday, this is the place to stay. Definitely would stay again. Everything has been updated...could use a couple of rugs to soak up the sound while talking or watching TV. Can't beat the location!”
