“I ended up at Camp Deforest serendipitously, but it was one of the highlights of my trip! This beautifully renovated motel from the 1950s has a summer camp theme that's the perfect blend of nostalgia and whimsy. So much thought was put into the design; anywhere your eye lands there will be something cool to look at. The rooms were super comfortable, adorably decorated, and absolutely spotless. And the staff was awesome, too! I was traveling solo, and both Zach at checkin and Joe the next morning...

“You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set.”

“Dopo 5 minuti ci sentivamo come a casa. Hotel facile da trovare, camere spaziose e confortevoli. A 3 minuti di auto da Camden. Colazione a base di dolci eccezionale e cucinata direttamente in loco. Ampio parcheggio gratuito. Unica pecca la prossimitá alla strada per cui talvolta si sente qualche rumore. In mezzo alla natura. Proprietari prontissimi a supportare con consigli e informazioni. Organizzatissimi con depliant e mappe sui tanti luoghi da visitare della zona, idem per i ristoranti. Più...

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”
