“The location was alright. The room was outdated. The bathroom had rust on the heating unit. The cleaning lady did a nice job with what she had to work with. There seem to have a problem with the septic system for the flush didn’t always flush good.When the room was booked it said the pool would be open for the season 2026. “Esperienza eccezionale!! Abbiamo dormito in questa casa del 1800 con Genny e Lori padrone di casa stupende. Al mattino ci cucinavano loro un’ottima colazione e si parlava di tutto. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e ospiti graditi. La casa è bellissima!! 3 camere con bagno in comune ma nelle due notti in cui eravamo lì nn c’era nessuno e zona relax in comune. A 3 minuti di macchina c’è un ristorante in cui si mangia bene e a buoni prezzi.”

“Camera con letto un po’ piccolo,ma con il necessario (microonde,phone,frigo). Pulizia ottima. La mattina alla reception disponibile caffè e donuts. Il motel si trova a ridosso della strada trafficata,ma il rumore non si sente affatto da dentro la camera. Visti i prezzi della zona,questo motel è un'ottima soluzione economica.”

“Our stay at the Cleftstone was wonderful. This inn made us feel like we stepped back in time when we arrived. The architecture was so cute inside and out. The staff was very kind and accommodating- though we didn’t take full advantage of that or the amenities because we were mostly gone out exploring in Bar Harbor. The only complaint we have was the WiFi is spotty at best in room 3. I know we were in Maine to escape the normal day to day and our phones but the WiFi didn’t even support the smart...
