“Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). Rooms have secure key codes, and lockers are situated in the communal kitchen which is large, clean and well equipped. Everything was good. Would recommend.”

“La experiencia ha sido terrible, me confirmaron mi reserva y me hicieron el cobro y antes de llegar me dijeron que no tenía ninguna reserva, que el hotel estaba totalmente lleno, fue una cosa terrible porque luego de un mes no me han devuelto mi dinero, No recomiendo este lugar para nada.”

“Great place to stay to visit Monteverde. It a good deal in this touristic area. The room was clean, so the shared bathroom was. Easy self parking on site and the hotel is walkable for the center of Santa Elena. ”

“I have traveled in many countries and slept in numerous hostels around the world and this is one of my all time favourites. The owner is absolutely amazing and super helpful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The location is good and the dorm room was nice and clean. I recommend this place very much!”

“We were running late to check in. The website says they close at 9 pm. We arrived right at 9. No one was there. The next day, the front desk person said they close at 8, then retracted and said he waited until 9 pm. That was not the case. I used the online chat to let them know we would arrive at the last minute - I was afraid of a language barrier on the phone. The front desk never picked up the chat. “Room without window, terrible light. Reception was like the living room of the family, where they looked TV what we heard. The hostel was located in a main road, very loud. We had to open 2 gates and 2 doors to get in our room. We felt like being in a jail. Much too expensive!!!”
