“Hursey Resort was a very pleasant stay for us. It is just outside Soroti (about 5km) on the edge of town with views of the surrounding area. The hotel is in secure compound with large garden grounds. The Staff are excellent, very professional, helpful and friendly. “When we found ourselves unexpectedly in Soroti after a few wearying days farther north, we booked this hotel impulsively and it was a sound decision. The rooms were immaculate, the amenities plentiful, the food outstanding. The grounds are so lovely that we had to rally to leave the hotel each day. “Says WiFi but only a few rooms have it and they try to charge extra for the same size room that has WiFi. Plumbing is a huge issue, first room no hot water and when finally moved to another room hot water didn't make it to the shower. Slow if any response at blackouts. Maids very friendly and helpful - the rest of the staff useless, especially the manager. I would not recommend during the dry season! I won't go back there either”
