“The best part about this motel was it was warm and cosy. It was also attached to a hotel that served reasonable pub meals. The downside was that it was on a t intersection of a major road through town and large semi trucks were going past throughout the night creating a lot of noise. Basic room with a fridge so you get what you pay for. Ok to put your head down if you are a heavy sleeper.”

Downsides were; I couldn't park in front of my room, they didn't turn the heat on untill I arrived and in the middle of winter the room was freezing, and very draughty due to the open slat bathroom windows (it was frigid in the morning). “Great location, awesome food and terrific staff. Not a place to stay if you need sleep. Band was staying here and carried on outside my room until 3:30am , then the staff put music on downstairs at 7am. I think I got 3 hours sleep. Stayed 2 of my 3 nights , left early and had to book another place to get some rest. Happy to have another meal here but will never stay here again. ”

“Expedia took our booking when Story Bank is closed. We tried to call a number we found but there was no answer. We drove to Mandurama and had no response so We had to return to Blayney a distance of 29km and find somewhere to stay the night there. We need a refund of $112.50 which was taken from our Mastercard account. This could have been avoided if Expedia had not taken the booking. A very unpleasant experience!!”
