“I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries. “A single overnight on a motorcycle trip. Accommodation was very comfortable and staff (Krista) was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with vegetarian accommodated no problem. “Posizione comodissima, la signora Morwen è super gentile sembra un cartone animato, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Le stanze e il bagno erano molto pulite e il letto era molto comodo. La colazione così come la vuoi . io ci tornerei perché a Oban è perfetto, ci siamo anche fermati nella sala comune a guardare la televisione.. tra l'altro sta ristrutturando l'esterno perché c'erano delle impalcature quindi sarà ancora meglio la prossima volta. “Excellent self-check-in hotel on the A83 looking directly into a stunning view of Loch Fyne at Inverary. Lovely garden with seating area for relaxing, eating, drinking or just taking in the view. “Anche se in Scozia, apena visto, ho pensato a una novela di Jane Austen. Il palazzo in pietra in mezzo al verde, le pecore, il lago, il fiume vicino, la tranquilità totale... proprio quello che cercavamo per un soggiorno "diverso". Logicamente bisogna guidare per arrivarci e per poter visitare i dintorni. I proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Hanno reso il nostro soggiorno speciale e molto confortevole. Ci tornerei sicuramente!”

“Had an overall great stay! Very clean and nice staff. The only thing that’s negative worth mentioning was that it took a very long time to get hot water in the shower and the tub. And after the hot water was running in the tub there was no way to get the cold water running. Except for this, a comfy bed and nice breakfast made this a nice stop along the way. ”
