“Very eclectic; the owner takes care of this hostel as he is there everyday with his family and pets. It's your basic hostel- bring your amenities especially insect repellant. Water pressure can be erratic at times, but this is island living so its expected. Great food and great staff. Service can be really slow- avoid if it looks busy. ”

“Per la seconda volta nella mia vita sono stato accolto all' aeroporto con un cartello con su scritto il mio nome, al mattino presto e subito in un lussuoso van portato a destinazione. In pochi minuti ero gia' in camera, una grande e fresca camera familiare con un ampio terrazzo. Il posto vicino all'SM, al mercato ed al BayWalk, e' perfetto per riposare un paio di giorni prima di affrontare l'avventurosa e straordinaria Palawan, soprattutto nella sua parte sud, un gioiello ancora poco esplorato.”

“Horrible disgusting property. False Check-in time (site says 2pm but was informed 3pm). Messed up my reservation so had a different room that was smaller. Staff blamed Expedia, but that’s very hard to believe especially since Expedia has been top notch with my reservation requests with no issues. Toilet had no toilet seat, shower had exposed electrical wire and felt absolutely disgusting and dirty. Super hot and humid with weak AC. Extra bed is just a very thin mattress on the floor. Friends...

“By far, OYO Rockssar was the best 2-star hotel we experienced in this 3 week trip in the Philippines from Iloilo to Cebu (OYO in Moalboal cancelled on us last minute so not impressed =(), to Panglao, Coron then back to Manila. It was clean, simple setup, spacious, airconditioning worked and right at the heart of the city, close to the airport for transfers, staff were very helpful with needs re comforts esp when we arrived on a brownout on 40 degree heat. “Il materasso era molto sottile, nessun prodotto come sapone,ecc. Internet altalenante. Non andava sempre. La camera era grande e pulita e l'acqua calda per la doccia era sempre presente. L'acqua calda per farsi un caffè non c'era sempre. Posizione buona perché a piedi o con qualche mezzo sono andata dappertutto Un bel guardino e i padroni di casa davvero molto accoglienti.”

“It was good, only downfall we didn’t have electricity for awhile but that stuff happens, but overall the staff was super friendly gave us whatever we needed or requested. I would definitely recommend this place for future vacations!”

“Service here was excellent - one worker even chased us down the road to make sure we knew the right way to get to where we were going! Really nice and quiet location and really close to Baker’s Hill. Spotless room with nice A/C and a spacious bathroom. Excellent establishment!”
